George was a great and very strong man for not cheating on Weezie, who was definitely not a beauty queen especially with that deep raspy voice. I do not know why Norman Lear cast her into this show, as she was definitely the weakest link. A Jayne Kennedy level of beauty would have been appropriate for George Jefferson who was moving on up to a deluxe apartment in the sky and who finally got a piece of the pie.
