Now that you’re settling in if I was you I’d build a big wooden house for them. I wish I could show you my sister and brother in laws chicken coop. They have about 8 chickens and their house is so cute they made it look like a mini house all decorated up. The front of the chicken house is a regular doorway for them to walk in and out and inside half is for walking and sleeping and half holds there food and stuff like that. To the left of the house is a big tall chain link fence for them to walk around when outside and inside the fence there is a little door with a ramp steps so that the chickens can walk in and out of their home at free will. Of course no animal can get to them because it’s a tall chain link fence. And like I said their chicken house is so I cute it’s a mini house. They are in Ohio. All they have to do is remember to close the chain link fence and the door they also walk in and out of.
