Derrick Nnadi is a mf beast, who cares what PFF thinks. Nnadi's ability to pick up a lineman and use him to fill 2 or 3 gaps is the crucial component that allows Chris Jones to get his job done

I'm glad we scored up brown but it'll be worth nothing if he can't mesh with the O and gain Mahomes trust. Id like to see another good wr and tackle addition and a trade for a decent OC as well but im cool with the Hollywood pickup. He'll do well with Pat under Big Red. Here's the problem with Sneed. Sneed knows he's good. Chiefs Kingdom knows he's good. Chiefs front office knows he's good. The rest of the NFL doesn't realize how good he is. He didn't make the pro bowl etc.... I think the Chiefs should take advantage and keep him at a lower price than what he thinks he should get.

Sneed is being slighted again?!? He shut down multiple WR1's across the whole NFL. Just point to the guy you want him to block and that guy will never catch a ball again. I really don't get it, you want deep threats you pay top dollar for WR1's but then slack on your own deep defense. Sneed should have been signed as soon as the Superbowl was over. Wait you don't think he is that good? Ask Zay Flowers, Jamar Chase, Tyreek Hill or just watch them get stuffed forced fumbled or blanketed. Chase against Sneed went from 200+ yds a game to 30.

Would love to have a sneed extension that A- keeps him for the 3peat run B- lowers his cap hit for FA and C- raises his trade value. but unfortunately I believe there's always a dead cap hit if you trade someone on an extension before the contract passed. So even if they extend him only to trade him before next year's extension negotiations kick in, that could be bad for the cap.

You can tag a player a second year in a row for 120% of their previous year's salary. Sneed is not going to sign a one year deal to reduce this year's hit so you'd be talking a $22,560,000 tag price for next season on top of carrying a crippling $18.8M this season. The cap number for next year could eventually be irrelevant with a sign and trade but as you can see from this year the Chiefs would either have to trade him before the start of the league year or free up enough space to carry that cap hit into free agency, crippling them for a second off season in a row. His trade value will also drop. Even if he manages to stay healthy and maintain his high level of play he cannot prevent himself from aging another year. That means its likely the Chiefs would not tag him a second time and would prefer to just take whatever comp pick they get if he walks, possibly a late third round. He's either going to be traded or sign a long term deal with the Chiefs. I don't think the Chiefs would be able to pay him anywhere near as much as he could get elsewhere so a trade sooner rather than later is probably best for both parties.
