@justicerushing5917 horror icon is a huge stretch. She solid side character. Chucky is the only icon. She singlehandedly made the series unwatchable and stupid. Bride was solid but a little too meta. Seed was terrible. Season 2 and 3 of chucky were terrible. Even cult of chucky was mediocre due to stretching the voodoo stuff into stupidity.

Horror franchises almost never get an official goodbye. They get a bunch of sequels, reboots, and reimaginings. Chucky has been one of the longest, most consistent franchises and as a long time fan, I’d love for him to get a finale. Let one of the original characters like Andy or even Mrs. Barclays be the one to finally take him out. The more he comes back, the more forced it seems. He used to just come back by accident, some loophole in “VooDoo” would revive him, now it just seems like he has endless back up plans, which really just lowers the stakes for viewers. The season finale of the TV show showed him transferring into the last known body and Tiffany has no more bodies left either. Let’s let them both go out with one final bang and wrap up the storyline for longtime fans. We’re spanning five decades at this point.

I think Alex Vincent doesn’t get the credit he deserves for this film. Easily one of the craziest scenes for any horror film is when he breaks down in the hospital knowing chucky is coming for him... there's not much else, especially for that time, that comes close. And the creepiest scene ever is when the mom has the batteries fall out of the bottom of the box. Right in line with Candyman when Helen realizes Robatile had been watching her for a few days. Both make my skin crawl every time.

Chucky's awesome, up there with Michael, Freddy, Leatherface etc, etc. I prefer the oldschool creepy, scarier and meaner Chucky over the goofier campier versions like Seed. I hope they keep him darker. First saw Child's Play when I was 5 when it came out, my dad showed it to me and freaked me out at first. My mom wanted to kill my dad haha then by the time the second movie came out I was obsessed with Chucky.

Fun fact the new Child’s Play wasnt supported by Don. But the original company have the rights to it so they can do as they please in regards to Child’s Play. But it’s not a Chucky film.

I have to disagree with the Child's Play 2 being superior to the original. Even though I do love CP2, the original is just way better and more sinister and greatly written! Also, Brad Dourif does his best acting and voice acting in the original, in my opinion. I am a fan of some of the sequels. Great video!
