All 4 of the family members are at fault. The mom and dad show intense favoritism, and when max didn’t mean to the mom yelled and said she hated him. Max didn’t mean to push Christine down the stairs, but he didn’t need to hit her AT ALL. But even Christine is guilty. When the mom and dad were being mean, and never letting max choose for Christine, she never stood up for him (only once) she was just like “yaaay!”

I felt bad for Max because his parents mostly avoided him, but at the same time he shouldn’t treat his sister that way when she’s still 5 and it wasn’t really her fault. I have an older brother, and sometimes my mom treats me better than him, and I never have a clue that he’s jealous or sad because my mom would always distract me and I have too many things doing in life. My mom basically picks favorites whenever one of us do something good.

Honestly, me and max are very much the same. When I was about 3-8 when my brother was born, he got a LOT of attention, I became really jealous and started being mean to him. But in the inside I was really sad and jealous. He always got what he wanted and I never did, whenever I asked my parents something they would ignore me or glare at me. My brother was always the favourite. So it was basically favouritism. They would always make excuses like “******, he’s only 3, stop being so cruel”. He still gets attention to this day and it’s much better now and it’s not as bad as my past… soooooo yeah 🤪

HE'S DEAD!!!! BRANNIE'S DEAD!!!!!" (Brannie was a nickname he had) Despite being gone since 1999 his death devastated and still is devastating to his family and friends 23 years later I may have never known him cause I was born in 2006 and like I said he died in 1999 The reason his mom said "My baby" was because like Christine he was the youngest His death really took a toll on his family much like how Christine's death affected her family

I can not stop crying because very recently I lost my best friend from cancer and me and my friends we were in shock because we all were In her class since kindergarten and we were crying so it is very sweet to hear this story and I now that she will stay in heaven with her happy endless life 🫶🏼
