This is showbiz Ross Lynch is cast in this show to be main character Gavin Leatherwood is cast in the show to be special guest star only If I'm the producer I don't want to pay actors that I don't intend to keep for long the top paycheck unless he/she is some famous celeb.. that'd be a not smart decision economically this show is costly to produce and YEAH I'm glad they dodge the love triangle thing Yikes I dislike love triangles too

Because in the show, Harvey is a descendant of witch hunters thus making him have a possible huge role for the upcoming episodes. And maybe he will unlock some of witch hunter's abilities and items for him to be viable as a main character in the series.
