Avoiding jail time by just offering everybody fried chicken. The past really was simpler.

In the time where teacher's have permission to beat children. Plus using corpal punishment. Resolve was immediate usually with violence and law did not cover children, woman and animals. Different time indeed.

@@nonprofitco-founderaccount5173 Didn't cover women🤔 Have you heard about the new invention they are calling Talkies? it's like the silent films we love but you can actually hear the actors voices😱 It sounds like a good thing but I'm still on the fence.

I found out recently the jigsaw puzzles use the same die, so no matter what the image is, you can solve 1000 piece puzzles all thr same way, and can even interchange pieces between puzzles. That is what serial killer origin stories make me think about.

I grew up down the street on summerdale when this happened. I don’t remember any one buying that house and long as i lived in Chicago. Seeing the Christmas tree the realtor put up inside the house around the holidays was depressing and chilling. My don’t know how many times we walked past his place on our way to oriole park to play ball-how close we were to a real monster. It’s terrifying to think about.

Really?! I grew up by the Serbian Church by Bryan Mawr Avenue. I was too young at the time so I didn’t know what happened until years later.

8:40 This is so true! I was thinking while listening to a previous episode where it was brought up, about how Mathas simultaneously knows everything and nothing about pop culture. It's just frankly baffling, because of the industry he's in, that he's seen so little of cinema in general.

I have a signed photograph of John Wayne Gacy. No joke. He painted in prison and sometimes he would send a signed photo along with it. I came into possession of one of those photos. Ill post it to the subreddit EDIT: Had to take it down. Mutual friend found it and decided to interject in my life. Sorry everyone.

I wonder if Gacy is known as the “Killer Clown” simply because KFC didn’t want people to associate him with their brand. So far at least it seams like he should be known as the “KFC Killer.”

It's not like I didn't try listening to these kind of episodes but I just couldn't get through. My fav episodes are still the beetles, earth moon sun theories, gnomes and "chill" stuff you know XD. I'll be back in a few weeks then again. I just can't figure out why you guys obsess about the murdering or cruelty stuff so much is this American thing?
@superelitejimi41652 жыл бұрын
Its just a human thing. People are obsessed with stuff like this, I always assumed it's left over from our caveman brains.
@lrose55222 жыл бұрын
It's certainly not an American thing, and it's actually pretty normal, I'd just google why people enjoy true crime tbh. Obviously you can't treat true crime as fiction because it happens to actual people and it's horrific, but some of the reasons intersect with the reasons why people enjoy horror movies and such.
