I can't even begin to tell you how much joy this podcast brings me. Thank you for making it, thank you for deep-diving and relishing the lore. Thank you for educating me on all the weird, paranormal, mythical, highly suspect BS. Thank you for creating this series, this atmosphere, this space to unwind and to dream.

The story Jesse told about being back on the porch... Sometimes our minds can play tricks on us. I remember when I was 18, I had set my alarmclock because I had a job interview. The alarm went off, but I fell back to sleep. But in my dream I got up, showered, put on clothes and went to my job interview. I travelled on the bus and the subway and I walked to the bulding the job interview was in. I knew how the building looked from the outside, but not from the inside. So when I entered the building in my dream, my mind started recycling old stuff and the inside looked like a distorted version of my class room from high school. Because this was not possible, I woke up immediately and only then I realised I never left my bed.

I once ended up taking an afternoon nap on the couch. Eventually I woke up, got off the couch, walked around a bit, etc. A few moment later, I wake up again, still on the couch. Obviously found it weird and figured I probably fell back asleep the moment I was thinking about getting up. So, I get up again and do my stuff. Few moment later, I wake up.. again, on the couch. This repeats about 4-5 times, as I'm feeling more and more terrified trying to figure out what's going on, thinking I've finally woken up, just to wake up again moments later. I think I eventually was just filled with so much dread that I couldn't fall asleep again and finally broke that cycle. It took some time to calm down and convince myself I finally got up for real. Absolutely a moment I hope not to have happen again.

The waking and not being able to move is a common stage of sleep. Your body does this thing where it paralyzes the body to keep you safe while sleeping. Had I not have it happen to me I would of thought it bull shit. Since my mind is very space oriented my experience was waking in my bed with an immense pressure and I could not move. I heard over the TV that a rouge planet was passing close to earth and creating an enormous amount of gravity causing me to be pulled down. The dream was so profound that I can still remember turning to my girlfriend, (in the dream) crying, express how I loved her and our 3 year old daughter so much and to be brave because we were likely about to die. When I woke I couldn't sleep the rest of the night. I feel like if your mind is very paranormal centered, those dreams could easily manifest as an alien abduction or ghost encounter. The truth of the matter (IMO) is that the human mind is an amazing thing full of complex thought and imagination. A part of me knows this is the origin of God and religion. In a time where living conditions were harsh and loved ones were taken so quick and early, the mind looked for a way to keep them alive in a paradise forever. Cheers boys, I really enjoy the paranormal podcast, especially the alien ones.

Okay guys, just to address something in the conversation about paranormal contraception. One of the guys suggested that if the fetus had died & an entity had come to retrieve its soul then there would still be a physical body left behind. ---maybe not. When a fetus is naturally aborted (meaning miscarriage) the body can reabsorb it up to a certain point in the pregnancy. This is very commonplace in multiples pregnancies where one baby is miscarried but the other survives. Either the uterus will reabsorb it or sometimes the twin sibling can absorb their aborted twin's cells. This is why you hear strange stories about people who find teeth in their skull or they have an extra finger/toe/nipple. So, it's entirely possible that there was an early miscarriage. Especially if she was just beginning to "feel pregnant" she would likely be

Here's one of my supernatural expieriences that me and a friend both saw last year: We are sat in the car at a car-park for a cinema, taking a break from a movie that turned out to be garbage, there is barely anyone around and just a few parked cars from other people in the cinema. My friend and I are just chatting when I notice his attention is grabbed by something happening behind us, I didnt notice anything myself at first I just saw he was distracted but we kept talking at this point. Then after about one minute I also notice out of the corner of my eye some movement and a street-light for the car park flashing on and off irregularly as if it were broken, nothing too weird. My friend then says "Did you see that too?" I realise this must be what was distracting him previously, I respond saying "I saw something, why what was it?" He then starts up the car and turns us around so we are directly facing where the dodgy street-lamp is, about 10 feet away as the light comes on and off. It's very hard to explain what happened next so I'll just say what we saw; A man literally appeared out of nowhere right in front of our eyes, below the street-lamp, and just stood there facing us for a few seconds, he then turned to move to the left and just vanished (there is nothing but a 20ft high wall about 10ft to the mans left but he vanishes as soon as he began to move ). Me and my friend are in pure shock at what we saw, saying to each other what was that?! what just happened?! , we both saw clear as day a man just appear then vanish. We park the car and get inside the cinema as fast as we can and look out the first floor window to where we just were as we try to figure out what we just saw. Then it gets even more strange as a few uniformed police pull up in the car park (not normal to see in this area early evening with no one around) and begin speaking to a non-uniformed guy who then leads the police over to the spot me and my friend just saw the disappearing man. At this point all me and my friend can say is - WTF is happening right now!? We go back into the movie screen to get our other two friends and leave as we try to explain to them what we saw. That's it, I cannot figure out any possible explanation, I'm sure it sounds absolutely ridiculous but I wanted to write this down partly for myself while me and my friend can still remember it clearly. I would like to add we were completely sober at the time and both saw the exact same thing very clearly. It still freaks us out more than you can imagine to this day when we talk about it. I have never heard of any similar expierience from anyone so I thought it might make a good little story. Peace to the disappearing man. PS: Long time fan of all 3 of you guys!

That acid story reminded me of my first bad experience with shrooms. My friend and I each took an 8th at another friends house, he felt it almost immediately but I sat there stone cold sober for the next 4 hours until I decided to go home. As soon as I stepped inside my front door it hit me like 10 tons of bricks. I went to my room and tried to lay down and then I got a call from a blocked number that turned out to be my ex. We talked for about 45 minutes and then the call got disconnected so I called her back, only to find out she never called me. To this day I have no idea who I was talking to, if anyone at all.

The first time I ever dropped acid the guy I was with had a bad trip and completely lost himself. Somehow I remained calm and helped him through it. I will never forget the moment when he truly lost his sense of self. An expressionless, blank face devoid of any humanity, even bodies prepped for funerals seemed more alive, stared right through me. But in an instant he was back, and watching him come back to reality was like watching a new life being born. His eyes so warm and longing that he started crying, hugged me, and thanked me for being his friend. After that I went to the bathroom, stared at the mirror, and fell into my eye. I fucking love acid.

A note, an early pregnancy lost will basically just reabsorb into the host body. If some ghost or alien or whatever, took the soul of a just post embryonic foetus, effectively there would be nothing to tell but cramps for the girlfriend? Which would be covered by her suddenly getting her period back, too, so it all fits it's just WILD & OUT THERE, that's for sure.

I always hate the "I woke up and couldn't move" ones, as they are 100% just sleep paralysis, otherwise that would mean that at 1 point ghosts or aliens decided to dress up as my friends and make night into day for a few minutes and walk about the room when I was asleep on the sofa, and a few weeks ago a ghost decided to mimic being a turned on tap in the corner of my room. I mean maybe that's true and ghosts/aliens are just weirdos, but sleep paralysis makes much more sense.

As someone who has indulged in psychedelics, I have many stories. They are a great time... Sometimes. Other times, not so much lol. Jesse's story about Acid made me laugh. I've watched Silent Hill and House of a thousand corpses on Acid and I was having so much fun, but walking home... It felt like the walk was taking 7 years. I legitimately felt like I aged 7 years walking to my house. I was so paranoid from how long it was taking ( it was a 40 minute walk ) that I had to call my friend I was with to make sure I wasn't going nuts. Not great when you are alone lol

So the couple just shared the same dream? Nobody said the gf had panic sickness. But then I guess its just a coincidence. At some point during their arguments "skeptics" start to sound like they're reaching. Anything to explain away something that honestly may not have an explanation. Not everything needs to or even can be just explained away. Not everything NEEDS to adhere to a mechanistic view of the world or the cosmos at large. Sometimes, things happen that ARE just weird to us, and may leave our understanding of reality. That doesn't make them untrue, reality doesn't need to conform to your beliefs and make sense with what you think you already know. If anything, nothing is true or real. We've all been lied to and lead. Perception is reality.
