I love her ! Just beautiful ! Al the way around, a beautiful lady, inside and out. Beautiful personality, beautiful face. I just love her, as she's basically just telling the truth, counteracting all the horrible propaganda and all the horrible lies that we are brainwashed into believing, here in the West. It's very refreshing, how just a little bit of truth goes such a long way to counteract all that nepharious anti China propaganda that pollutes our minds here in the West.

I am a woman living in a small city of south of China. I feel very safe here I can go anywhere in any time alone. Even at 2 or 3 in the morning. My Australian friends said they very worry about me so late back home, But it is very normal here. One reason is because people here love night life. Another reason is because the south of China is very hot, So having fun in the night is very good.

There are several reasons for safety in China. First, with the development of the economy, the quality of the people has become quite high. Second, traditional Chinese thinking makes the Chinese themselves very law-abiding. The third is the popularization of surveillance cameras ( the so-called "monitoring of the people" in the West). Finally, I hope that everyone will come to China to see more and less bbc.

It is such a smart policy in common prosperity in China. The western media misinterpret it as making everyone rich. It is more about providing affordable resources for people who wanted to work such as public transportation and cheap electricity. Unlike the west, they just hand people money which is not even enough to survive in some cities resulting in explosion of homelessness. And many people in the west could get more welfare not working than working. But there is a big difference in base culture which most Asia countries teach their kids about family values, hard work and respect. I don't know about other countries but I know they don't teach these in the US. US social values basically fluid based on whatever the politicians dictate to them.

Liberal and far-right treatment of such coverages... never mind. People should do their research on inequality within the US, plus Latin America, Turkey, Israel, South Africa, Russia and SE Asia
@popcultureclash
@popcultureclash 2 жыл бұрын
It's incredibly rare to get more on welfare than not working here and you can't live off it, especially not long term. Those are right wing lies used to justify social cuts that lead to more homelessness and poverty and finally poor people being locked up out of sight so people don't have to see the problems anymore. It has nothing to do with social values and everything to do with affordability and the things you noted to begin with. Public transportation and cheap utilities, affordable housing, are all things that make social mobility and making a living easier. The US essentially has none of that and if it does it's substandard. It's not a failure of individual work ethic but of an entire system to provide the baseline infrastructure for success. I agree, China is incredibly impressive for investing so much into this baseline living standard for the average person and it's the key difference between the quality of life and prospects for poorer people in China and America.
@kenh4681
@kenh4681 2 жыл бұрын
You got it wrong, the western media is not misinterpreting it as making everyone rich, they are maliciously labeling it as “cracking down” on the rich and big businesses in China.
@TAL142
@TAL142 2 жыл бұрын
@@popcultureclash Well it depends. If you are poor, you can get section 8 housing assistance. And you can make babies, I believe it is $365 per kid. And the government take care of the kids. With several kids, you make more money than McDonald. If you work, you have to pay tax and rent. You just have to make sure you stay under the threshold. And certain community they commit crimes that is tax free. Recently I know many people quit their jobs because they can get unemployment and stay home to take care of the kids. You just have to know the rules to abuse it. An immigrant told me she was taught by the "social worker" how to maximize her benefits. I know people who maxed out all his credit and declared bankruptcy, left United States back to his home country in Philippine and lived like a king for a few years. Then he could come back and work in states again. I am sure the right wing and left wing both exaggerated their causes. Although we need welfare to protect those in need, but we also need to make sure they are not being abused. I just think handing out money is not the best way unless you want people to depend on welfare like certain community. It is better to teach someone how to fish than to give him a fish. Giving him a fish would only fill his stomach 1 day.
@popcultureclash
@popcultureclash 2 жыл бұрын
@@TAL142 there are select individuals who abuse the system like any other but you have no idea what you're talking about or how the system actually works for most people beyond your anecdotes despite the fact it's been well studied by people who know what they're talking about for decades, so this conversation is useless. I agree teaching skills and providing the conditions for success is better than only giving aid at least👍. For anyone else who is interested in actually knowing what they're talking about, it's been well covered. Here's a Harvard post about the welfare dependency myth from a professor who studies public policy design: epod.cid.harvard.edu/article/dispelling-myth-welfare-dependency And an article from the Atlantic that cites other studies on welfare's economic effects: www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2018/03/welfare-childhood/555119/ And economists testing if welfare makes people lazy: www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2015/11/20/9764324/welfare-cash-transfer-work

Thanks for your great videos. Really good to see your videos of your life in China. Good to see that we can learn to live together and respecting each other despite our differences in race, culture and backgrounds. So refreshing to see Caucasians and Chinese can live in harmony. Keep up the good work!

Love your video ms.rachele. Am a chinese born in overseas n English educated too. Surprised, u can speaks fluent Mandarin. How long have u been in China??? Glad to be able to understand your Mandarin. But, Chinese's Mandarin is difficult to catch or understand. Maybe, its the slang or speedness they speak.
