What could be better than listening to ancient music than to hear it played by expert musicians in such gorgeous settings? Whether you're in a garden pavilion or a well-appointed timber frame room, you're hearing the sounds the way people hundreds of years ago would've heard it. And btw, I didn't know Suzhou had such grand architecture! I've seen videos showing the quaint houses lining canals, but no one shows these beautiful opera houses and museums. Thanks for sharing, and thanks to your tour guide as well!

Broski the boat ride on that one street in Suzhou had one of the longest lines of people I have EVER seen jeez. And the shear amount of people taking pictures of traditional clothing for advertisement on Taobao I suppose is wild. But the atmosphere was great. Also I have come to learn that food in those packed places are expensive and not always the best. You will, more often than not, find better food places right outside of the main attraction area.
