My farther fought in Burma under general Wingate he and a friend escaped from a Japanese ambush his name is in a book called beyond the chindwin River brave men all of them
@Goodcircles4 ай бұрын
Very Brave men all of them. My Father said the Ghurkas helped them survive in the jungle and fight the Japanese. He was left for dead after getting cerabal maleria and was found wandering around the jungle by a South African regiment. He was then taken to India to recover. That's like winning the Lottery.
