The misconceived US sanctions regime has also significantly reduced revenue at the US/Western chip companies and chip related equipment companies (ASML, etc.), which REDUCES these companies' abilities to fund their R&D, which threatens their ability to compete with China in the future. All-in-all, the sanctions have been an enormous failure that has achieved the exact opposite of its intended effect.

The Chinese people are grateful to this genius for giving China the opportunity to develop chips. I have recently read a lot of posts about the chip war, and I saw the condescending mentality of Westerners. It is so funny. I love products not company, and right now i have some devices which have US made chip inside, but now on i will make sure that i will not use or purchase american chip, there are good alternatives available like MediaTek in mobile devices and for PC soon an arm based Alternative will be available like snapdragon x elite frome the MediaTek i will buy those instead of American, because american are supporting Israel and i will boycott America.
