I'm one of those awful "Never Trump" Republicans. I grew up in a very conservative household. My father was ex-military and a retired police Captain. I don't understand how people like Parscale can be so blind to the fact that Donald Trump ONLY cares about his status and image. He had the greatest administrative turnover in Presidential history at 85% and NONE of that turnover was because they refused to honor their oath of office to the U.S. Constitution or for lack of allegiance to the Republican Party. They were let go because they refused to put loyalty to Trump over their own moral values. Donald Trump is incapable of caring about the country. If he can just get back in the White House he can guarantee his status as the greatest man whoever lived, by, according to Trump's own words, jailing the naysayers. It's the same way he guarantees his club championship titles by threatening to fire the employees who hand out the tournament trophy if they don't make him the winner. Policy? What policy? Trump wants a Putinesque kleptocracy for himself here in the U.S.

trump has policies : Project 2025
@hawleygriffin1800Ай бұрын
@@catherinekrzan6605 So I disagree. Trump isn't smart enough to come up with Project 2025. The Heritage Foundation is. The Heritage Foundation is using Donald Trump as their "patsy" to get Project 2025 pushed through, the same way Vladimir Putin helped Trump in 2016. Putin saw Trump as an easily manipulated, pompous, buffoon who would make it easier for Putin to expand his circle of influence in the world. What happened? Trump undermined NATO for Putin. Trump sided with Putin over his own CIA. Trump lobbied the G-7 to let Russia back in after they got kicked out for invading the Crimea. Trump was so "gaga" over Putin and his power, he did everything Putin wanted and was the perfect patsy. The Heritage Foundation sees Trump the same way. In their eyes Trump is just a "compromised immune system" to deliver the Project 2025 "virus" to the American people.

Brad said he's from flyover country, and Trump's speeches resonated with him. The paradox of flyover country has become that even though they have their own story to tell, plenty of white poverty, people needing assistance, farm subsidies, deal with opioids, young people fleeing to big cities, shrinking economy, land sold off to large corporate conglomerates, etc. etc. Yet over the past ~45 years, they chase Democratic candidates offering policies to help, straight out of town. This is in part due to Ronald Reagan's dissolution of the Fairness Doctrine. Since the 80s, 1500 right-wing talk-radio stations saturate every corner, no matter how remote, of rural America. 16% of Americans polled say they get most of their election news from talk radio (that's 88% of the US rural population). For comparison, there are only about 50 left-leaning/progressive radio stations mostly syndicated in large metropolitan areas. Progressive commentator, Thom Hartmann (a small "c" Christian who debated Christopher Hitchens) once asked the head of Clear Channel why they don't syndicate more progressive content - the answer came back something like "we can't syndicate non-Christian(?) programming, and besides, I'm not going to syndicate channels that promote policies which would raise my taxes".

The prosecutors twisted the statutes to invent baseless charges never previously brought. The cases aren't valid (except for the classified documents case, but Smith wasn't properly appointed).

I hope we can repair this country. These people need reflection. There's no reason to be supporting Trump. Everyone, including this guy, has had a downward spiral that has been in Trump's orbit. It is time for the circus to end. Time for detoxification. I hope the republican party does some hard reflection.

Never underestimate the power of celebrity and this guy said it in the first few minutes. In 2016, people knew Trump from the Apprentice and that’s why he was elected and over the next 4 years he just pounded into his supporters lie after lie after lie…he gaslighted his base and they fell for it and this guy is just one of many!

You can tell a lot of his supporters had 1 thing on their minds : getting rich. Brad and a lot of others are people who can put aside all judgement and morals for the prospect of being rich and successful. It doesn’t matter how they get there.

Trump was making shipments of intubators to Russia while Elmhurst hospital, his hometown, was searching for refridgerator trucks to place all the dead.

He also told states that ‘they were on their own’. So the Governor of Massachusetts ordered medical equipment for Mass hospitals ( we were hit bad with covid) and his administration hijacked the equipment!!

Why is he still simping for Trump? He's not getting paid any more. We can see his text messages where he complains about Trump. What gives?

It all stopped when he said Donald Trump does not take things personally. To have that interpretation is to be completely 110% delusional.

The issue with his, "elitist" statement is that Trump is a part of and has no intent in breaking from that, "Elite" group.

@9:30- Parscale describes Trump as a caring, generous person behind the scenes. Some of it may actually be true. But we also know that Trump has done a lot of terrible things in private. His image is heavily manufactured. We know Trump can be a charmer. Parscale may have gotten duped.
