Crazy is good Jed. I'd love the program! I spent a wonderful couple of days during lockdown following the stereo version (the only one I have) with the music. The true genius of Rubenstein was revealed to me so many times over...I grew up with the old Magaloff set, which I still love for its subtlety.

Thank you Jed, because of Dave Hurwitz you became an iconic yet enigmatic figure I imagine many of us were dying to hear from, so I will be lapping up every word, though there is already so much much to be thankful for by proxy through Dave's commentary ..particularly Moravec (sigh) so many tears have already been spent listening to him and I have you and Dave to thank for that.... I am hoping that one day you might offer up a take on your favourite recordings of the nocturnes, but for the time being I am just grateful that you would share some of your legendary insight...oh for anyone visiting check out Jed's terrific radio show Between the Keys

Thank you for your kind words, although I hope I am more accessible than enigmatic in real life! I certainly will consider a Piano Maven podcast about Chopin Nocturnes. My 20th episode will be about comparisons of Chopin Etudes cycles, in fact.
