Another great review! I got the symbolism of Thaddeus' stone cutting with Jesus' water to wine miracle when watching this episode. Wow! How visionary are these writers! GOD has definitely anointed them. However, I didn't even think of Moses' water to blood being the beginning of the Israelites freedom from physical bondage. Truly Jesus saves us from the bondage of sin. Thanks for tying OT events to NT events. Blessings to you! 🙏✝️

Agree Thad and the stone jars comments and Jesus and Thomas exchange about the stone can't be defiled and they were jars for holding water for purificaton all layerd together, Moses water to blood/Jesus water to wine. I love how they include Shabbat prayers (Blessed are you LORD God....fruit of the vine prayer)this is also said at Passover🙏

I especially loved the imagery you presented likening Jesus to Moses. I love how much is "hidden" in the show! ❤️

There's a lot of great stuff "hidden" in the show, and it's so fun to uncover it. It was very interesting doing some research and finding the Moses comparisons because it shows how big of a deal this miracle really was!

I am so unable to pick a favorite episode.. I love every episode in season 1 and 2 and I cannot choose.. Instead I seem to have favorite scenes within an episodes... and the scenes you disected here are absolutely my faves. Your commentary is so informative.. I love it. I am learning more about what Jesus's Jewish life was like... and the symbolism you provide is awesome. Thank you and stay anointed.

Beautiful job of diving deep into this episode! Appreciate all the details! I personally thought the metaphor of the stone cutting to the miracle was amazing. Then the words of Jesus: "I am ready Father". His mission had started. There was no turning back.
@ChrisDurban3 жыл бұрын
When He said, "I'm ready Father" it reminded me of "The Passion of the Christ" where Jesus said "My heart is ready." But I really like that line here at the beginning of His ministry. It underscores the weight of it all!

this episode is one of my favorites! well... i love them all!! but what made this episode so special to me, aside from the wedding and the miracle, is the Simon and Eden conversation.. soooooo beautiful! when she said "why would i feel abandoned? i feel saved!" my heart jumped, i had goosebumps, tears... Jesus' facial expression when Mary was asking Him to help with the problem... perfect! then Ramah's lines near the end... epic!

It's all so well done! I love it when Eden says to Simon, "Finally, someone sees in you what I've always seen. You're more than a fisherman." So great!!

Hi from Barbados 🇧🇧 Chris. It amazes me how much deeper beyond what I was thinking or feeling your thoughts and explanations take me. This episode indeed stirred up controversy over Jesus's joke about helping Andrew's feet. But back in the first scene when Mary was searching thru Jerusalem for her twelve tear old Son, a line spoken by Joseph coul have caught trouble but didn't. Joseph asked Jesus what He would do to make up for this TRANSGRESSION.

Trivia (I hope I'm not repeating myself in this channel -- I hope it was in my other favorites like Snipe Life or Now Let's Be Honest 😁) Did you notice that in the same episode number of the following season, if Mary Magdalene hadn't run off, "Creepy John" could have met the person Nicodemus was referring to in this episode's conversation? Not sure if it followed the convention that Dallas writes the 3rd episode of every season, but so far, each Episode 5 of these 2 seasons had John the Baptist conversations.
