This has already been addressed by Dallas Jenkins. The person who did this was an outside company that does work for The Chosen. If The Chosen chooses to keep him, that's up to them, then choose to watch or not. I believe the politics need to stop. Trust in The Holy Word. All shows all entertainment can be influenced by dark forces. It is up to as Christians to discern for themselves.

The person who did what? The issue is #thechosen releasing a season 4 promo video with a pride flag fluttering in it. And when many $upporter$ asked why, dallas doubled down and defended it. He was snide and snarky and unbelievably arrogant. His responses have proven to me he has ZERO discernment. And everyone else involved with the series has remained silent which is extremely troubling to me. No thanks. I'm boycotting the chosen tv show. #walkaway

I don't think the issue is a person working there as an unbeliever. Rather, Dallas should have been more acute in making sure his Christian show didn't advertise LGBTQ in it. When Dallas talked, it sounded like a whole lot of word salad.

With the bullhorn comes responsibility. The chosen has taken on, what I believe is the highest level of responsibility to clearly tell the story of what I and many believe is God- Christ and the Holy Spirit- The Holy Trinity. Not only for this generation but those that follow. For many this series and what the producers say and deliver surrounding it, may be their only understanding of the Holy story. If the default was not to the 'trump' card story of 'casting stones' which means someone can do whatever they please, a nah nah nah nah nah position, the analogy would not come into play. They have chosen the responsibility to tell Christs story. They should therefore be held to the very highest of standards. Changing the beliefs of Christianity by permitting and embracing nuances that conflict with that responsibility, is not, in my opinion carrying the torch of pure light that many will follow. The Holy scriptures do not say: eh, yeah, I guess we all sin so embrace everything. They do say go away and sin, no, more. That is not the Chosen response.

I have seen a few vids on the incident...what bothered me, is that all the actors that were asked about the flag never once said "LGBT is a sin". They all copped out saying "don't judge, and close the door on your way out". None of them stood up and said "we as Christians do not condone LGBTQ". I felt this was a missed opportunity to take a stand against that which the Bible clearly labels as sin, instead of folding like wet tissue paper. Keep up the good work man! Groete van Oos-Londen😊

I don't watch the chosen. I understand that sometimes a homosexual might be part of the workplace. The issue that almost the entire set has come out in support of LGBTQ "brothers" on staff instead of acknowledging and professing that they believe that this employee is respected for his job but that they all believe he along with all LGBTQ people are on their way to hell. You will never hear it from the set or 99% of churches today. That's the problem.

@@thatcardiologist3874 There is no one born a homosexual. If you believe that, you are calling God a liar. He is clear in His word that he created man first and than woman for man. Homosexuality is an abomination in the eyes of God (Sodom and Gamorrah) We are born with temptations to sin but with the power of God we can dominate the lust of the flesh. A man can because of his upbringing attain desires for other men. If he believes in God and places his faith in Him, God will take those desires away. Many former homosexuals that have received Christ can attest to that. A straight man that used to fornicate with woman can stop with the power of God. So can a thief or a liar. Sin is sin. The bible is clear about homosexuality and all sins. If you continue to practice that sin after coming to Christ, you will not enter the kingdom of Heaven. If you are a believer in Christ than you either believe the Word of God or you don't. There is no picking and choosing. For nothing is impossible with God and the bible is clear, those that come to Christ are born again and become new creatures (straight men in this case).

No! If you have homosexual desires your not automatically bound for hell. I will say this again homosexuality is a sexual sin like any other so if you confess your sin and profess Jesus as your loving saviour you will be saved. You also have to abide with his teachings if you keep acting on your homosexual desires and not try to control it that is when it's bad becoz it's just like me saying am a christian but I still watch pornography or fornicate. @@annduruibe625 I completely agree with everything you said, except for the last sentence. There are MANY cases where this is true, especially in todays society, but biological flaws occur. There are people born without legs, there are people born with different colored eyes, and the same is true for homosexuality. Everybody is different and DNA is not perfect. Sadly, there are people truly born as homosexuals. And they can do nothing about it, other than try to suppress there desires. But that’s not very fair to them, now is it? Everyone else can do biblically pure sexually related things. But any sexually related things they do at all is considered unbiblical.

I don't watch the chosen because it was the mormon church who approached Dallas Jenkins about doing this crowd funded tv show. And i watched an interview where Jenkins stated that the mormon church was indeed our brothers and sisters in Christ, and that he makes this statement unapologetically. I think this is a dangerous statement to make to the body of Christ, seeing that he is supposed to be a pastor. It says much about his wisdom and discernment, seeing that the mormon church teaches a doctrine and theology more than likely influenced by demons. Now I've only watched one episode. Even though it was moving, i was reminded in my spirit, that we walk by faith not by sight. And that the heart is more deceptive than all else and desperately sick, who can trust it. What im saying is that in the end, it will be false emotions and doctrines, deceiving spirits that causes most of the church to fall away in the last days. I think Christians should be very careful when watching it, if they do, and realize its just entertainment.

Very well said Daniel! I have never seen the flag in any of the episodes of the chosen! On the documentary on filming it, a flag was caught in the corner of the screen! It has nothing to do with the integrity, and what the chosen show is all about. This is there something in the Bible several times about casting the first stone! Unless you’re totally sinless, you have no right to say anything. I find on the social media there’s an abundance of people who’s only goal is to be hateful, critical, destructive and downright mean! This is the wisest reaction, in my opinion. Short and clear. I can understand yours and Dallas' view on this matter. True, they are from the contractors and they have their own belief, we cannot control them of what they can do or wear or say behind the scene. I agree with you to follow the Holy Spirit guidance. All need to pray for this matter. The audience and followers of The Chosen should pray for it as well, together in unity pray for this matter. Asked for the Holy Spirit for guidance and help, there's power in prayers. Don't just voiced opinions on the net but also pray for the Chosen crews and the problem to be cleared out. Let's unite in prayers, don't let the spirit of discord win. I can sense the spirit of discord is on the work strongly nowadays, to make us argue/fight among each other. We are the body of Christ, so we should unite in prayers. We must always be careful because the devil is like a roaring lion, observing us to find a weak spot to attack. Now they find the weak spot in The Chosen, and they attacked. Added with the spirit of discord on the work as well... don't let them win, let us be on our knees to GOD and pray. Pray in blood of Christ too to cleanse what is unclean among The Chosen, and to protect The Chosen. There's power in prayers, in blood of Christ, and in Holy Spirit. No hate here, but I do not really agree with the show just because they are taking dramatic license to present a story. Not necessarily an issue for believers, but could be confusing to a non-believer that have no experience with reading the Bible. Also, it seems that he knows that this particular cameraman is know for flying the flag on set everywhere he works. Personally, I probably would have gone with another contractor, but hopefully this person will see Jesus through this production and come to know the Lord.

I've seen a lot of thoughts on this. Some people don't want to be divisive and are of the opinion that The Chosen helps to bring unbelievers to Christ, while others want to stop supporting it. I've seen some say it's moreso that allowing the flag on set is unprofessional, and while that may be true, I'm not sure that should be used as a case against supporting the show.

I respect you & everything you've done w/your ministry so much. I will also say that I can only imagine how some of the messages you received may have been worded.. I started out giving the benefit of the doubt on the flag situation (although I have plenty of other issues w/the show).. until (& hopefully you come across this when you look into it a bit deeper) I came across the responses given by the actors playing James, John & Mark (most likely more by now) & not only are they extremely disrespectful but they're very much in support of the LGBT movement & pride mth. & extremely hateful towards anyone who would even dare question them - even in love. They are not independent contractors, they're playing the disciples of our Lord Jesus yet responding to Brothers & Sisters like they're garbage.. I admire you & your work so much but i can honestly say (not as a youtuber, b/c im not one, but as a single mother trying to raise her son on #1 The Word; #2 what little Godly content there is out there) that I have been slightly confused why you would choose their footage b/c it does seem like if you're putting it in your intros, outros, etc. you're in agreeance w/what the show teaches - which isnt 100% biblical.. In fact quite a bit of it is straight from the book of Mormon. The man playing our Lord & savior (who is Catholic) openly speaks about how he communicates w/dead people, lays on graves to do so & is a member of the knights templar. I could go on & on about many members of this cast & comments they've put out that are completely unbiblical & basically admissions of their attempt to make Jesus whoever He needs to be for each individual to accept Him. Despite how the Bible portrays Him. They thought it was a good idea to make Him flawed so people could better relate 🤔. This is NOT the Jesus we know through The Word. I hate to admit it, but I feel like you made this video perhaps on at least 98% emotion.. you can almost hear anger in your voice, especially when speaking about people casting stones. I do get it - I just wished you'd gotten the facts before making this response video. I would be interested to hear where you stand once you're better informed. I write this in love - to you & your team. Also to anyone that may feel judged by my statements.. no judgement here - just truth. Anything I included here were statements from their own mouths.

And if #thechosen was really a Christian show and the producer was a true Christian, he could have tried to cast Christian actors and hire Christian staff as much as he could coz I believe that is very possible. God always make a way.
