Very cool edit. Intentionally or not it to me it highlights what has struck me about the Snyder Trilogy (MoS, BvS, Synder cut). Its really about all about Kal El as a metaphor for Christ. He's rejected by humanity, dies for humanity, is resurrected and reconciled with humanity and even has a kind of second coming when he renders judgment on the forces of evil. Love him or hate him, Snyder went all in on that angle.
