This is the first Christmas I have heard these lyrics--they are beautiful!!!! They sing the other Hallelujahs' which I could understand --because they have nothing tho do with Jesus or God-the scant Biblical references have nothing to do with Christmas and are totally taken from bits and pieces---thoses songs are really about lost love -if anything, This one is so awesome and and full of the Christmas story and Praise of our Lord and God.

The very meaning of "Hallelujah" is sacred. - hal·le·lu·jah God be praised (uttered in worship or as an expression of rejoicing). "He is risen! Alleluia!" an utterance of the word “hallelujah” as an expression of worship or rejoicing. - There is no greater praise to God's Glory then the blessed truth of His word . God gave us a voice. JESUS GAVE US THE GOSPEL TO SHARE WITH THE WORLD . Did you know that Jesus Christ sang ? - The Bible says so: Matthew chap 26: verse 30. YES He sang with His disciples the night before he allowed Roman soldiers to arrest him so that he could be tried for false claims against him and convicted and then crucified. It was by His death and resurrection from the dead that eternal salvation came to all who believe in Him as Lord and Savior !. And that Psalm He sang with His disciples gave thanks for the loving kindness of God . It was Psalm 118 ... it is everlasting . - We Believe: - Isaiah chap 14: verse 7: Therefore, the Lord Himself will give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Emmanuel. which means: Hebrew: עִמָּנוּאֵל, "God with us" in human flesh as a man but without sin. His shed blood would eventually pay all sins price of all sinners! And He would be crucified and die and rise from the dead the third day. Jesus had to die. His death, burial, resurrection and shedding of His sinless blood were required to pay for all sins once and for all time. (See * 1 Cor. 15: 3-4 & * Ephesians 1: 7 below) - John 3: 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. - "All have sinned, and have come short of the glory of God;" Romans chap 3: verse 23 - "The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans chap 6: verse 23 - "I am the way, the truth and the life: no one comes to the Father, but by me." (John 14.6) - "...Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and he was buried, and on the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures" 1 Cor. 15: 3-4 - "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;" Ephesians. 1: 7 - "For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins." Matthew chap 26: verse 28 - Ephesians 2: 8-9 "For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast." - Romans 10: 9 If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, then you will be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 13 For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. - "Salvation, forgiveness of sins, is available to anyone who will trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Those who have rejected the free gift of salvation (see John 3: 16-17 above) according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ will suffer judgment on their sins and eternal separation from God and the Family of God on earth and in Heaven forevermore. - "Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."
