The third movie just really felt out of place from the first two. It wasn’t the same without the original Director and composers. The second movie is by far the best Narnia movie in my opinion. Sure it doesn’t completely follow the book, but it rebuilds the story more and gets the engine going. I think It did a better job.

The Third did have a very unique and compelling soundtrack tho. But yeah that one doesn’t compare to the battle

Yes, Harry Gregson-Williams’s score is what truely got me into composition. I’ve done my own arrangement of The Battle, which has a few surprises of my doing in it (won’t give it away, check it out if you’re curious). Back in October I released an urban exploring (of course I had to do something spooky because of the release time) music video that uses my arrangement as the music. I have since expanded my arrangement to include more of the song. I’m thinking about arranging more from Gregson-Williams, as it’s easy to work such surprises into a lot of his pieces. And to show how much of a role a composer plays in filmmaking, I liked the first movie, loved the second one, and found Dawn Treader dissapointing, almost like Walden Media said “wrap it up, we lost Disney, here’s a low budget to do one film to wrap things up as hastily as you can”
