That reminds me of the motorized toboggan I designed and made from scratch in the mid-1990s. I called it the Moto-Boggan and it was a blast to ride - definitely more fun than snowmobiles. It was stolen, unfortunately. If I find the time, I’ll make an updated version.

They were sold at the marine dealers since not too many boats were sold during the winter. The lights were added after other snowmobile companies complained these didn't meet the same standards...

We had one of these growing up in the woods in Virginia. It was great! I'm curious if anyone is making a modern, electric version of it. The thing was loud AF and a pain to operate, so an electric version would be so much fun.

@@SirDrifto I just found them and thank you! These look super cool. I don't have a need for these nowadays but if I ever end up in a snowy part of the country, I would so love a moonbike. The sno-runner was a blast to the past of my childhood, but having a modern electric one that is super fun to ride, that would be a pleasure!

There was a guy on our block in Anchorage, Alaska in the early 80’s who had one of these. This is the only other one I have seen.
