It was also re-released on DVD and Blu-Ray with Surf's Up which also included The ChubbChubbs Save Xmas (released in Theatres with Daddy Day Camp). Sony did another short called Early Bloomer (released theatrically & on DVD with Daddy Day Care).

I feel the true Disnee movies are like " Oliver and Company, "The Brave Little Toaster," "The Jungle Book(1969, 1998, and 2016)" just because they bought The Nightmare before Christmas Star Wars, The Simpsons and other once great properties, I still see The Simpsons as Fox, the Nightmare before Christmas as Touchstone and Star Wars as whatever it originally belonged to. The properties that MADE all these things what they are today, are not ALL Disnee. What do or did you think of when thinking of who made The Simpsons? What comes to mind even still? I remember seeing this when I rented “Surfs Up” when I was a kid. The animation kind of reminded me of the classic Rayman games a little bit. The nostalgia and powerful message hit so hard, It brings me back. Also, Mortonette Jenkins did a really good job playing as the Singing Diva in this short film. Also, I sure do hope that Sony got away with the Star Wars, E.T. & other references in this short film.
