I feel the reason Joey keeps Lee around all the time is cause Lee looks up too him so much and Joey feels like he's teaching him and showing him how to be a man and Lee makes Joey feel good about him self cause joey loves to tell stories and Lee just sits there with his jaw dropped and listen and Joey loves every minute of it

Had to pause to tell a lik story about Chicago. I did my basic training for the navy in Great Lakes. I had some business to tend to in Chicago and ended up getting lost with no ride, so I started walking in what I assumed was the right general direction, in full dress blues. The farther I walked, the more lost I got. I still don't know where the hell I was, but I knew I was in the wrong neighborhood to be walkin around at night in Navy dress blues. I'm from New Orleans, so I wasn't too nervous or anything like that, but I definitely aware of my surroundings. So, when the big dude rolled up slow behind me in a blacked out impala, my head was on a swivel. He pulled up next to me, rolled down his window, and his exact words were "Boy you MUST be lost!" He gave me a ride all the way back to the base. I tried to offer him gas money, but he was like "Naw playa, you good" and that was that. Chicago can definitely be a warzone, but the people are cool AF! I never even got the dude's name, but I'll never forget him. So if you're reading this today, good looking out playa! If you're ever in New Orleans, come find me. First rounds on me.

Being in my own bubble, i isolated myself from the world (for almost 3years).. & anyone who's been through shit like this knows it's like coming out of a litteral jail, for things around just change soo much. I wish i knew about Ralphie sooner & heard of Joey's stories yearss ago.. Hope Ralphie finds true peace, love, & security; & gets to choose to come back to this place one day and uses the opportunities in front of him again to put himself in another position to inspire, cheerfill, & help others again!!
