No, you're right. After watching a few more videos, he IS a little awkward. But there is A LOT of dry humor there, and I think he plays up the awkwardness to add to the dryness of the humor.

Hanna Carterson Oh yeah, you are right. I wasn't saying that you weren't lol. Flula has a great sense of humour, and not many people see it or get it. They just think that's how he really is haha. Germans have a bad rep for being "humourless" but really they're just more serious (not exactly Flula, but, yeah), and are big on dry humour, like you said.
