I actually live in Guangzhou , I’m very lucky and blessed. There areno guns, drugs or gangs. It is very safe anywhere and at anytime both for adults and children. The food is super delicious and a lot on offer including international cuisine. Shopping is very cheap from clothing , appliances , furniture , kitchen ware , bathroom , eyewear, shoes etc. I particularly love the services like food delivery , cab hailing , maid cleaning services etc. Infrastructure, public transport , is world number 1. The quality of living is on top of the world. Ppl here are peaceful, friendly and go about their lives.

Hi, Max! I continue to watch all your walking videos! I’m finally going to China this year as an individual tourist, I’m flying from the city of Khabarovsk on July 27th to the city of Beijing where I’ll stay for three days, after which I want to go to the city of Zhuhai after Guangzhou, then Nanjing, Nigbo, Shanghai and again to Beijing for plane and home. This is the route I planned for myself! I watched videos of these cities on your channel and built a route to the places I want to visit thanks to your videos. I’ve also been to Guangzhou twice and every time I get to know new places, it’s great. Thank you very much!

I remember arriving there in 1985 on a boat from Hong Kong, visiting Qingpin Market and having a cool-down at the White Swan hotel with its amazing jade sculptures. The city today is unrecognizable from 40 years ago. So much change in a short time. But I bet the summer heat is still tremendous. I really enjoy your videos, which show us a side of China that we rarely see in our news.

It's mind blowing that China's 3rd largest city is almost half the population of Canada and Guangzhou is in a much smaller area. It's approximately 6800 kms from Vancouver, BC (West Coast) to St. John's, NL (East Coast).

Guangzhou is a really fantastic business hub in southern China. It claims to have the best food in China, at least that is what Cantonese people like me believe. Ha Ha. This is such a green and clean city just like the rest of Chinese megacities.
