You are though it’s just acting she was not in the wrong Twink he is a grown woman and if she wanted to sell her songs to do something nice for herself she had every right to do so most of the sisters were following their mother dream got their own. And yes the Clark sisters are an amazing female group and because of their mother that is who they are today but a lot of these family groups a lot of them are forced just like the anointed pace sisters love you and I did not want to sing they wanted to go to law school someone out to be a doctor so I wanted to be a nurse so I wanted to be something else but they were forced just because you can sing doesn’t mean you’re supposed to be a gospel Artist.

Child stars have to grow up so fast...although they have accomplished so much sometimes we forget the struggles of the mind people like Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, and Ms. Twinkie Clark had to endure while growing into the legends they became and are.

Danté P. Watching this scene really made me realize that...their parents (with extreme good reason) forgot that they were still children handling very adult situations. So when they make mistakes as ms Clark did in this scene...they were penalized to the degree of an adult and they truly didn’t understand the magnitude of what was done because they were blinded by the glitz and glamour of things as a child would be...so when they have the world including their families coming down on them thinking they should know better...they truly didn’t. So this scene taught me a very big lesson about great entertainers that were pushed into the industry as children

Here we are giving Mattie all the glory for the Clark Sisters but it was Twinkie that wrote all the songs. Mattie was like the Joe Jackson of the Clark Sisters. Twinkie wrote all the songs played the organ for her mom pretty much gave up her childhood just like what Denise said. She was the only one that had Denise back. Mattie wanted to handle the business because that puts her in control of everything. They were grown women but still under the control of their mom and Denise was the only one that wanted to be her own person.

@@butterflyygyrlsworld5106 cuz she was young and all she saw was a check. The person who paid her likely knew it too that's why they likely came at her when her mom wasn't around.

@Candace candace true, but that was a terrible decision. Catalogs are why producers almost always make more than artist. Every radio play, album sale, sample all get paid to the person who owns the catalog. Her mom was right, she made a temporary decision that likely cost her millions

Matti was something else!- strict on them!! She was not playing with them but it was so sad about how she died!! Never neglect your health that's serious biz!! She showed she didn't care a lot about her health and refused to take good advice about it !! Reminds me of my dad and my mom they did the same thing that's why he is dead because he didn't listen to the doctor! And my mom is in a nursing home for the rest of her life for being stubborn about her health too!! I wish they did listen then they wouldn't be where they are now! So take care of your health or end up in an early grave! Believe me-That's real! God helps those who help themselves! Peace!

I don’t think it just goes with having a business education it also goes with having common sense because why would you sell a full catalog of songs you’ve spent countless hours writing in exchange for a car that’s either gone break down over the years of having it or possibly going to get wrecked in a car accident

She sold her entire music CATALOG for a CAR?!?!? Bruh, this is how the industry takes people for a ride. People don't even know what their work is worth. Do you know how much more money owning your music can get you? Do you know how much artists in the industry fight for the rest of their lives trying to get the rights to their own work back? My heart just broke. Baby girl did not know what she was doing at all.
