Mr. Bryant respectfully, realize their getting a little older now, so with the additional background singers, they are able to maintain their professionalism all the more, esp. when each of. CLARK S. are singing their LEAD VOCALS....i.e. when Karen is singing lead, she can focus all the more because Jackie's daughter takes Karen's place on THE "SOPRANO" BACKGROUND VOCALS. It definitely gives them a fuller sound....

It is so funny how when Twinkie plays for her sisters they sound way better. Her organ playing just brings out the best in their voices. I like it better than the band it makes ther singing so generic. Yeah Twinkie love you!! Now we just got to get Denice back in the group.

@recordone11 I agree completely. I do like background singers but I do get tired of like 10 background singers for every artist. What I love about the Clark Sisters, along with many old school singers, is that they came up in era in which the had to do without singing with music tracks and a dozen background singers. It really let it be known whether or not you HAD IT OR NOT.

@murice11 Thank You! At least you get to communicate with them. I wish they would play here in Atlantic City, NJ. We dont get alot of Gospel singers down here. Atlantic City corny and when I graduate from college I think I want move out of state.We were fortunate when Donnie McClurkin, Mary Mary, J.Moss and Fred Hammond came to perform at the Old Boardwalk Hall back in early 2009. I would love it if The Clark Sisters performed in Atlantic City, NJ at The Boardwalk Hall. I'd buy front row tickets

if you watch this vid again, or more than once, notice the dude on the keyboard, he obviously had problems with his keyboard and that he couldn't get it to play but only and finally came on towards the end of TCS selection which was probably a good thing..would have been an interference(of sound) towards the queen of the B-3.. it finally came on towards the end... Big dummie!

Sooo…im 11 yrs late…just stumbled on this video I’m the dude on the keyboard that didn’t work. At that time I was the music director for the Clark Sisters as well as for Dorinda. I was there because they hired me to come play keys. I’ve done tons of shows with Twinkie so obviously I knew how to not “interfere” with Twinkie’s sound 🙄 But you be blessed tho 👍🏾

But I know that they went through some trials with the church, especially when the church chastized them for singing at the Grammys back in the 80s, which pissed me off because tht was uncalled for. They were bringing the holy word to the secular world to get the attention of Sinners everywhere and they got mad like the group did something wrong. HATERS! But I think Denise should come back.
