As a singing sibling, I like hearing siblings that sing. Just like siblings look alike, they also have one common feature that makes them sound alike. I can hear myself when I hear my sisters. It is really creepy but also kind of touching because we lost our mom and this is something she gave all of us and we all have the same voice but it’s like the difference between a viola, violin, and cello. It’s like the one family might have the same nose or high cheek bones, we kind of have similar features in our voice. It makes me feel like a part of a family and DNA. When I hear Karen I hear her sisters, her daughter and even J Moss their cousin. I hear their familia. I hear their inheritance.

It should be understood and recognized that out of THIS GROUP there was MANY singers born who patterned themselves after them. Faith Evans, Kelly Price, (Karen), Fantasia (Dorinda) Brandy and Missy (with the harmony arrangements). And just so we are ALL clear Karen Clark was/is the greatest singer of HER Generation she was even Whitney Houston's favorite singer. At any rate also dont forget that their Mother and SISTER Twinkie Clark (she usually played the organ etc was essentially their "vocal coach" as well) most people who arent really associated woth the church usually never know this.
