I don’t care what anyone says, Twinkie is the pioneer of contemporary gospel music, she brought REGGAE into gospel which was practically unheard of at the time. Without Twinkie there wouldn’t be a road paved for Kirk or any other progressive Christian artists

Sometimes, you just have songs that you could hear anytime and it hits you. It’s like realizing, oh this is really one of my favorite songs. Happens to be from one my favorite groups too and that’s critical that she pulls Stevie’s Master Blaster (Jammin). To your point, I agree about Twinkie and her role in the sounds that I found could be brought to Gospel. She’s put the work in, and with talent, she was most magnificently a pioneer. So like a virtuoso worth Jammin with anytime. The Gospel is a Mighty Funk in Reggae
