Remember you can always set a weapon cap override in options since I assume you going for sun sword set it to 2 get cleaver and crystal sword evolve it and then grab a 2nd junk weapon for the over-level trick in blacksmith since you cant limit break there without a level 7 weapon in hand. Also you missed the big fat padlock next to the options in the shop.

About Acid Coating not showing up til late in your run (And Light Spirit too), cards actually have requirements. If you hit the i key while hovering over a card, you can see the requirements. Or you can click on it in the encyclopedia and it shows the requirements. Light Spirit, for instance, cannot appear until you have at least 50 corruption.

You can freely banish the tainted cards. Once you run out of cards to pick at the end they will start to show up again.

They come back really? In any case I would never banish durability as it one of the few cards that gives you base max health which is one of if not the best thing to stack.

The highest weapon i got so far was a ring of poison in survival by picking up a bag of greed right after spawning, with that 1 weapon only I made it to 4hrs jn C-rank. Rank 11 poison ring.

Yep it boss drop only but the only thing you more likely to get of a boss is the old coin (you can check in the encyclopaedia).

you are selling your max hp for FINAL power, that's adding to your FINAL damage, after crit and power multiplier. There is a better card (unless you go B difficulty) that sells your defense, and you can get so much more power over selling your hp. Like 4 times more.

I'm glad you're playing this again! I've been hooked on it for the last week or so and have been having fun unlocking all the new cards and equipment and playing with the new classes. I'm still having trouble with the new Gunslinger, though. I've been wanting to like it, but it seems worse than ever now with only using one weapon at a time. I haven't figured it out, yet.

It's kind of cheaty, but I've found that it's much more playable if you turn on auto-aim (found this out when my mouse broke, but now I don't want to go back). It's still kind of underpowered, but not as frustrating as playing it normally.

The best weapon gunslinger has is the railgun the ultimate gun of the revolver/sniper line. An other tip is to get reload on dash (so you dont run out of ammo) and trigger weapons cards on dash on take damage and dash trigger on damage cards ( as triggered fires all 3 of your guns though you only need railgun) now dash around the map and watch everything melt.

@@mattm8870 Ah, the reload on dash sounds great. Reloading is what seems to be what hangs me up, even though I try to level it up as much as possible. All those trigger cards sound good, too. Thanks for the tips, I'm going to give them a shot.

the quick game should still gives you ~10% less XP 10/16 encounters * 1.2 XP_modifier * 1.2 monster_amount 10/16*1.2*.12= 0.9 ----- assuming that all encounters are combat-encouters (if they aren't and only combat encounters have been deleted, then it is even less XP)
