at 10:00 getting the lightforged blade is probably a bad suggestion. Also a quest reward from the paladin quest is the trinket, Sanctified Orb, which gives an on-use 3% crit bonus to melee AND spells for 25 seconds with a tiny 3 minute cooldown. And since its a trinket, you can swap it out with others while on cooldown and it will be useful forever until BiS, which, lets be honest, most players never will be.

You missed The Nicker (Renamed to The Blackrock Slicer). It has a 4.00 attack speed and is probably one of the best starter weapons for Ret due to the way Seal of Command works with its 7 PPM (Proc Per Minute) rate.

Verrigan's Fist is a hard weapon to get, first you would like to do the q before you're overleveled for deadmines, then you have to do 2 elites in very different zones after talking to NPC is the towns nearby. The hardest part is getting an Alliance group for SFK which is the real hard part. Nowadays people might do it for the fun of it but back in the days it was a real pain.

True, also wanted to add that there are two quest you will want to pick up in Stormwind. One is The Corruption Abroad from a night elf in the night elf part of Stormwind.(next to the moonwell) The other one is Stormpikes Order from Grimand Elmore in the dwarven district Both involve travelling to the same locations as the quest. There are more quests for the elite zones/dungeons(except for SFK) but check a list for the dungeons.

I plan on farming the weapon myself because it's sexy but it's sadly kind of trash and doesn't last very long compared to blues a level higher. Probably why he skipped it. And it's not something that just drops easily

@@dyllontimm What are you talking about? AV polearm isn't until BG's are released, and most 2h that compete with Sul'Thraze in DPS are restricted to lvl 58+ If you can get Sul'Thraze on a lucky drop do it, it will last you until 60 in Phase 1/2.

Alliance had a quest for Scarlet Monastery that offers an axe just about equal to the Warrior Whirlwind Axe in everything but looks. It's Down The Scarlet Path to kill undead in Desolace then to Southshore to realize the Scarlets aren't actually the goodguys then to kill the bosses of Library(Just the first boss oddly) Arm, and Cathederal.

Yeah you skipped Archeus from Mor'Ladim questline, and Bonebiter from SM questline. Both quest rewards that people are always doing. Beastslayer from Un'goro quest which is nice for beasts. Also forgot Gatorbite Axe and Princess's Sceptre from Mara, and Angerforge's Axe from BRD. Honorable mentions 1. Destiny-BOE World Drop 2. (The almighty) Kang the Decapitator-BOE World Drop 3. Ret Paladins also typically want a low attack speed because SoC has a ppm rate. So slower weapons and faster weapons both proc 7 times a minute. Slower weapons hit harder.

I do not agree. Paladins have EVERY right to roll on that weapon, ESPECIALLY while leveling. You might not realize it, but Paladins draw even MORE out of slow 2h weapons than Druids do, in fact, I'd say a 2H weapon is a warrior's OFF-SPEC, rather than a main spec. For a Paladin leveling as a Retribution, and even PLAYING Retribution post full-BWL gear and / OR T 2.5 gear, they WANT those slow 2h. For Humans, maces and swords especially. For Dwarves? Well, anything, but Axes are the best.

@@CyclopsToppingWolverine Dude you need to worry less about BiS stuff when you're simply leveling, need on whatever is more beneficial to you even if the weapon is suboptimal. BiS really comes into play when you're doing dungeons or raids, but during leveling who cares..
