The Classic Bastille Technique

Bastille’s Dan Smith and producer Mark Crew talk through what goes into making the ‘classic’ Bastille sound and how they updated it for the song ‘Future Holds’. With not only the individual vocal stems from Dan along with collaborators BIM and Senab to hand, the pair also break apart the song's structure and how its fluid nature doesn’t lend itself to a lot of the usual songwriting techniques.
