I always found that little bit of lore strange. For what Harold said in F1, the master seemed like a nice man before he came in contact with the FEV. Was he really the kind to murder someone? Was he framed? Or was that Lynette being a shitstain anf making up an excuse for why they kicked him out?

People have a hard time with voice actors being able to voice multiple characters. Bob's Iguana Bits comes from Fallout 1, where it was selling human meat. Son of Bob's Iguana Bits is a continuation of that business. In Fallout 1 you could not shut the business down or rat him out, so by Fallout 2 you can assume it is still selling human meat. People made the connection to the White Gloves because of that. Maybe they are linked, the smart suit suggests it and so does the selling human meat in disguise but since it doesn't actually say.

3:48 - Child Killer is a reputation and not a perk. It overrides all other reputations and makes many in game NPCs immediately hostile to the player. You receive the reputation by directly killing a child, but your companions can kill children without it affecting you and kills made by TNT being set and getting the TNT pickpocketed from you by a child (killing them) also doesn't give the reputation. The title of the subject in the iceberg is just referring to the icon which was changed before release, the original one was shown. However, the game to this day still allows you to kill children, however it is heavily discouraged.

The state of the intelligent desthclaws is most probably that they were all killed by the Enclave. In FO2 they have 2 possible endings. If you kill dr. Schreber in Navarro before or closely after meeting the deathclaws in Vault 13 they live. Otherwise they are killed two weeks after you leave Vault 13. However this is only in a patched version of the game. In the vanilla game the positive ending can't be triggered. You can avoid the massacre but then the deathclaws have no ending slide. So given a vanilla version of Fallout 2, I think they are canonically dead or barely surviving hidden somewhere. I don't think Bethesda has any intention of using them in the future tho (or making a game set on the West Coast for that matter).

The time limit for the mutant invasion was not cut at least for a few more towns, like the Hub and Shady sands. Its honestly the worst part of fallout 1, spending countless hours doing all the sidequests so you can get unique ending slides for every location only to find out the mutants destroyed them OFF SCREEN because you took too long. Technically the Followers good ending is in the game but the side quest which prevents the bad ending was cut, its funny though because the cut ending is actually the canon one.

joshua graham wasn't hanged for his failure at hoover dam in van buren, as it wouldn't make sense for that to be the case because van buren takes place before the first battle of hoover dam. So i'm pretty sure he was hung for other reasons

It was because he along with Vic and Sulik were the usual best set up of Companions in vanilla. He was the best of the 3 with his only downside was being unable to use Super Stims.

I have one correction to make. You said the Café of Broken Dreams was located in Modok when its location actually moves around. In one playthrough I found it near NCR City, and in another I found it near San Francisco before it later shifted closer to Navarro.

I was a little late to the boat when it comes to iceberg videos but have really fallen in love with them on all sorts of subjects. I only started playing Fallout with Fallout 3 so I missed much of this. I actually just finished watching your Abrahamic Religion Iceberg. Even though I'm an atheist, or perhaps because it's because I'm an atheist that I found it quite fascinating. Considering you have only done 8 videos requiring a lot of digging, your work is great. Well presented but your retain a bit of personality. Doing things to a high standard is a good thing to aim for content creation but I feel that when people make things too clinical they are unengaging. Keep up the great work.

The main reason it got cut was due to legal disputes with Interplay and Bethesda due to Bethesda not approving of the the project idea, leading to it to be cut and cancelled.
