I compared a Gibson ES 335, some Gretsch and Duesenberg and others and the D'Angelico Deluxe mini DC stood out in tone as well as in feel and it is one of the most beautiful looking and feeling guitars I ever had in my Hand! It has split coil hum buckers which are sounding gorgeous, as well in normal mode as in split mode. It is by far the most versatile sounding guitar I ever had and it is killer!

Cool guitar, great playing, and even though that one is pretty good looking I hate their headstocks. Guild headstock is cool with me though. Honestly don’t like a whole lot of crazy adornments going on usually, but every once in a while if done right I like flashy. That one is pretty classy, and although I love that satin finish I hate the way that type of finish rubs into a semigloss where it takes on natural wear. All in all though I’d totally own that guitar.

Wow, thanks to you and D'Angelico for doing this - theirs is a name I haven't heard in a very long time, but what a guitar - The sound clean is like that of a fine piano, just so rich, full, tunefull and without overtones or that typical 'Oh, its a guitar' dull sound.
