Feels like they have alot of the same for the same purpose. Heal. Maybe they could reduce that bloat to make them more meaningful. You know just because they can say this class has 20 abilities it doesn't mean that much because it is all the same but in different colors.

Is there an archetype that gives the healing spells a water aesthetic? I use to play Shaman healer in wow before that game went to sht imo, I just really like the water bender aesthetic.

Clerics wear heavy armor ,we locked in certain weapons as well?

You’re not locked to weapons or armor. Clerics could wear cloth if you preferred the stat. I’m a mage right now using a 2H sword and bow, it’s kinda wild

Does the game have transmog functionality yet if you don't want the fantasy plate healer look? Would prefer a shaman/druidic look

It's still early for all the gear designs, but every class will be able to transmog any other class gear.

It won’t be your primary role, and you’ll never have enough to out dps a mage or a rogue, but it sounds like you’ll have enough to get by good enough when leveling

I didn't think I'd be so depressed about the cleric this close to A2 lol. I assumed I'd use a greatsword and play cleric as a dps crusader type deal like I do in every game, but this just isn't that class fantasy.

Afaik you can use a greatsword, but both your healing nor' dps will be anything to brag about.

Seems to be many healing spells are duplicates in functionality. AOE heals and hots seem to be redundent.

Nice concise class overview. Cleric is my fallback if I don't like Bard. I may try another class if I see that Cleric is overpopulated tho. I wish you would stop playing NW and put out more videos.

I do too, however, I’m concerned with their lack of mobility. I think they will rely on tanks a ton for pvp. I’ll still be playing one but I’m less enthused to.

Remember, there is only 8 archetypes. One primary healer, and one off heals in bard. That's already 1/4 of all archetypes. Combining archetypes means there will be 8 different flavors of cleric and 8 different bards. Blizzard said it well when creating the Demon Hunter. Why create a another DPS spec and spread out the good ideas?
