Please Please PLEASE cover the lore in depth, I would love to see your take on some theories the community has thrown around Including one you only really notice after getting a certain variation of the "frenzy" ending (I tried to use a name with as little possibility of spoiling as possible), and reading the godslayer greatsword description Blew my mind when I first noticed it
@kidfazer2 жыл бұрын
what blew your mind about the description? I’m trying to grasp the lore a bit more now that I’m almost done with the game
@umbralbushido86362 жыл бұрын
@@kidfazer Alright well for anyone else reading this beware of spoilers, but: The Godslayer greatsword description reads: "Sacred sword of the Dusk-Eyed Queen who controlled the Godskin Apostles before her defeat at the hands of Maliketh" We also see the Melina has a deathmark similar to ranni, just on the other eye, and if you obtain the frenzied flame and cause her to leave before the forge of the giants scene there's an addition to the lord of chaos ending where it shows melina picking up a ring while talking about how she'll deliver upon you destined death *followed by a shot of her originally marked eye opening to reveal a purple, or dusk-colored, eye* as a final note when you rest at a site of grace after receiving the frenzied flame from the 3 fingers she promises to kill you should you become the lord of chaos "as sure as night follows day" (AKA the transition period between the two known as dusk)

Necrit please don’t be afraid to continue on this elden ring lore! Or even expanding more. I love your formats and the way you go through stories or explaining things in general. I would honestly love if you even went into past souls games for lore. I know it’s already been done as those games have been out for a long time now but I would seriously enjoy watching those too.

5:10 30?!?!? There is 30 just in liurnia. In atlus there is like 40 bosses. 20 in weeping , 5 in caelid and 20 in limgrave.(these are estimates , not exactly) + there are like 10 secret areas with bosses of their own , there are at least 100 bosses in elden ring
@matsjaksland2 жыл бұрын
Acording to a tweet bu zullie the witch there are 170 boss fights in the game. But a few of these are repeats or reuses of the same bosses. So in total there are about 70 unique bosses in the game
@bencegergohocz59882 жыл бұрын
mini bosses (enemy felled) and bosses (greate enemy felled) are counted separately by many people cause a normal ass troll, beastman or statue hardly deserves to be in the same group as let's say... Melenia
@savakirilov52632 жыл бұрын
@@bencegergohocz5988 so do we only count the ones who drop rememberences as bosses? Because if that's the deal the first boss of the game is godrick and that just seems wrong Edit: I agree that say , the demihuman chiefs can't be considered as real bosses , but I think margit for example, should still be considered a boss

This is what I love about Elden Ring. I finish the game and have a completely different experience than my friend. They got to Atlus Plateu using the lift, I got there through a cliffside mine area, it was brutal and grueling. I got to lyndell via the gate, my friend did Fia quest and arrive there via a totally different way. This is how you make open world game, I don't want a quest indicator on the map because that will make all player go there and have the same experience.

Even tho I love the worlds and atmosphere that Fromsoft created in their other works, gotta say Elden Ring’s world is so much richer and different.
@celfhelp2 жыл бұрын
as much as many people are going to credit that to George R. R. Martin, FromSoft showed that they were drifting toward that richer and different world with Sekiro really hoping they continue in that direction because god are they great at it

Honestly, I’ve tried many other fantasy worlds since I fell in love with Runeterra. LOTR, Game of Thrones, Devil May Cry, etc. but none of them gives me the chill as League. It was until the Elden world that absolutely made me lose my mind of how insanely amazing it is. A must-discover for any lore-holics.

Very great job of exposing the difference between the story and the lore bc I’ve seen hate on how the game doesn’t tell you the “story” when they literally tell you the story right from the beginning it’s the lore that you have to unfold for yourself if interested, and yes the way this game sets up for the lore the conclude in theories makes for great discussion amongst the community which is awesome

I've only tried games like these in the past, never really considering how the difficulty actually shapes the gameplay. I tested it (for like 30-40min) and decided it wasn't for me simply because I decided "it's too slow". from how you've described the game I'm starting to rethink my assessment.. I just might pick the game up and give it a shot. I do like games that are *fair* with the difficulty, so this might actually be a game for me after all. thank you for the spoiler free review! edit: and thank YOU ALL for the very insightful and encouraging replies, you've only boosted my desire and interest to try the game for myself! ♥

Do it. Great game. Gets really fast paced once you start to get to higher levels. You get quick dashes that turn you to smoke and have Invincibility frames. Swords that shoot giant magic kamehamehas. It gets crazy

I had tried dark souls 1 a long time ago but never got past the tutorial because it felt slow. About a week before ER came out, I decided to try dark souls again to see if ER would be worth for me. I gave dark souls an honest shot, and I’m so glad I did. That game blew me away in several ways, and I fell in love with Elden Ring too. Once you get the feel for the combat, it’s honestly so fucking good.
@zachh68682 жыл бұрын
With Elden Ring, aside from like the first boss, there's almost always an easier part of the map you can be in, which means you aren't forced to sit there and die until you beat the boss. Just go do something else and level up
@Nata-ch2bk2 жыл бұрын
@@zachh6868 The first boss, you mean mr. M? He’s actually not that bad if you run around a bit till you get to him. The biggest mistake a beginner can make in this game is to rush to that guy imo. You can literally spend 30 hours exploring 3 different areas of the game before going to that castle. This is my first souls game and I beat him in like 4-5 tries because I was already decent level (so good HP pool to tank 3-4 hits instead of 1-2) and decent upgrades on my katana already. And I had very little actual skills in the game. Meanwhile people much more skilled than me spent hours on this guy, so I can’t imagine noobs like me trying the same thing (i heard some people spent up to 15 hours fighting him, like wtf)
@lamdo36802 жыл бұрын
The difficulty is really standing out, but many people don't know it's just a mere tool to help you immerse in the game. You always start as nobody, not a protagonist of the game by any means, but of your own story. By dying (a lot) without giving up, you will rise to the top and become a lord. I could say the difficulty is scaling down in this game due to the fact you can do explore and strengthen up before the bosses, so it's really accessible for newcomers.

This is my first Souls game, going blind on a wretch. I'm about 10 hours deep and at lvl 41. So far I'm having ALOT of fun, even though I never really could get into previous titles. Highly recommend trying it out if youre even somewhat interested
