My Clone Wars Story is that I originally wanted all six movies of star wars in a collectors edition for christmas. But then I realized that this would be pretty expensive so instead i wished for season 1 of the clone wars, without any expectation. But after finishing the first episode, I already was sure i needed the next season as well. Today I own every season on DVD and have a way bigger obsession with clone wars than with the original movies.

I watched the trailer and got goosebumps watching the camera pan down the Clone Trooper helmets and then the iconic music kicked in and I was smiling like a loon. Anakin, Rex, Ahsoka and clones in general feel more human than they did in the movies and I'm glad they will be keeping the old style of charecters! Thank you Lucasfilm!

#clonewarssavedme I'm a parent of three and struggle to make ends meet for them and my wife. Star Wars is my one outlet to do something for me when I'm not working or taking care of my family. My kids recognize that, and they like to hang out with me when I watch shows like Clone Wars. They love to build with our LEGO pieces and make speeders to zoom around. None of that would have been possible without #TheCloneWars, which kept the dream and the spark of life inside of me when days got really dark and the nights felt like they would never end. Thank you Dave and crew for giving us fun stories and a galaxy far, far away to fly off to.

The Star Wars fan base is such a double edged sword. It is so reactive and toxic but can also be so passionate and cool.

I disagree. I don't think a portion of the fanbase is toxic. It would seem that Lucasfilm, under the Disney auspices, has decided they are not interested in significant portion of the (older) fanbase and is comfortable alienating them. While I can understand that as a marketing decision, those disaffected fans are vocal in their dissatisfaction. They, the older fans, have invested a lot of personal capital in Star Wars and don't feel now like they have made a good investment. I have collectibles that I spent a lot of money on over the last decade or more. The value of that investment is both monetary and existential. The existential value of my fandom has lessened. (I would also argue that monetary value of my investment has lessened as the pool of potential buys is now labeled as toxic and is therefore out of the market for what I have.) I have Star Wars collectibles that used to be on shelves in my office that are now in boxes. Some of those fans may have been left behind by Lucasfilm (Disney) and they are unhappy about it. It isn't that they're toxic, it is that they feel abandoned by those they invested so much in.

There is a very large chance that only 4 of the 12 episodes will be new episodes and the rest will just be finished versions of the Bad Batch arc and the Utapau Crystal arc. If this happens it would be horrible as this means we would still have about 50-60 unreleased episodes.
