One of the biggest strengths of Clone Wars is that it not only humanized the clones, it showed that in the end they were the biggest victims in all of this. Similarly, one of the biggest strength of the Bad Batch is seeing what happens to the clones, after Revenge of the Sith.

The Bad Batch series takes place immediately after Revenge of the Sith, the Kenobi series is about 10 years after Revenge of the Sith and the Rebels series begins roughly 4 years after the Kenobi series. Rebels season 1 and Andor season 1 occur at roughly the same time.

Fun fact #1: Hunter's inspiration was actually Billy from Predator. But yeah, they ended-up closer to Rambo. #2: If you watch closely the Bad Batch's attack on the cyber-centre is one long shot, with no cuts for over a minute.

I would highly suggest watching rebels before bad batch even if it chronologically comes after. One strength of the Bad Batch is explaining the existence of some crucial characters in Rebels.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 That is also true. If you watch TBB first it’ll flow actually pretty smoothly, as long as you can pick up on a couple of small things. If you watch Rebels first it’ll make you appreciate those characters in TBB more. Up to you which watching experience you prefer. Either way you’ll enjoy a ton.

This arc was released in unfinished animatic form shortly after the initial cancellation of the show, and though these full versions were made many years (and a few shows) later, they're actually quite close to what those animatics were, showing few to no rewrites or changes were done in the interim. As for the Bad Batch series, it picks up immediately after the finale of the Clone Wars (in tandem with Revenge of the Sith) and has thus far given us insight into the opening years of the reign of the Empire and how rapidly and drastically the galaxy changed for these war veterans once the war they were literally made for was over.

yeah it was weird. This graphic we had was different than the website we used, but we used the graphic for ease of reference so by time we got to season 6 we thought it was all just in order from then on. 🤗

indeed Clones where the sidekick most of the time yet this show really made them shine on the entire complexity of their being and personality. interesting you are saying Rex and his troops are influenced by being lead by Anakin (Cody in here as well due to the close work of Obi Wan and Anakin during the war) as it shows in unique ways up ahead! Now you are on the final season which is an emotional rollercoaster! what fun!

It's neat seeing the Bad Batch's initial appearance here in The Clone Wars and comparing it to now in the Bad Batch though. The voices are a little rough and not super defined. Once you get to the Bad Batch show, you can hear how Dee got their voices reigned in, refined them quite well and made them their own.

Whoulda thunk that this lot would work as a series when this aired, they are so over the top haha! Its become a very good Star Wars series and these latest episodes, are just phenomenal, as good as this and Rebels at their best. Crosshair is the best though, so cool. Actually Hunter isn't styled after Rambo, but Billy from Predator, who was able to sense something weird going on in the jungle as that team got predated on. Anakin's 501st battalion, who we mainly follow in the show along with Obi-Wan and Cody's 212th, are fantastic; but lets not forget they will be the ones storming the Jedi Temple killing younglings a few months from now...

you should watch rebels after this, yes. but yeah, there was no season seven rebels came after season six.. because seven of clone wars came out in 2020 so it's pretty new . they just wanted to finish the clone wars rebels was aired from 2014 to 2018.. so there's a lot of things in the last season of the clone wars that come from rebels, the continuity.. some of it you're not gonna understand because it's out of order it was aired but if you read your comment section on each of your videos, I'm sure people will point out those moments when they appear in rebels .. and so on.. but yeah, watching rebels next will make things hit different when they happen.. like this base in the beginning, you'll see it again in another series.. when it comes to TV series or animated series in Star Wars, always watch in release order because they always add things to other shows and stuff to try to link it together.. things will hit much different emotionally to

Yep. We had stopped checking the website and used this graphic someone shared with us and could've sworn after season 6 it was all chronological and no more jumping around, but guess not. However, this time it didn't feel like it was out of synch whereas last time we messed up could definitely tell 🤗

Episode 1 Episode 2 Clone wars Episode 3 Bad batch Kenobi Andor Rebels Rogue one Episode 4 Episode 5 Episode 6 Mando Ashoka Episode 7 Resistance Episode 8 Episode 9 I believe is the official order could be wrong, there's also the Tales of the Jedi show but that jumps around era's personally I'd watch it after episode 3.
