FlatOut 2 is EASY. I did beat it in FWD cars which I have allergy to, and I am not even a pro unlike you. Try beating FlatOut 1 in a starter car, that one would be a challenge.

That first person mode already kinda put it above Wreckfest for me, which in that one is so basic id honestly have it like Grid 2 where it wasn't even added back. Needs more push back tho, like hitting a barrel and maybe being bounced way back, and being turned a bit when hitting a car, maybe not as much as Wreckfest but somewhere where you can recover once you hit something hard. Steam page lists 45 tracks which is pretty good [plus it has sprint tracks too which many games tend to forget nowadays for just 1 lap circuits]

As a russian sarcastic and ironic meme. Like - "he didn't want to kill children - he just WAS WANT TO SAVE THEM! Glory to J-12 Soldier!" For people who forget - who it is - J-12 was in story campaign, and Matador (Russian Operator in MW2019) is actually is his brat/brother. And for people hating this game - THE WHOLE GAME is(!) homage to Original FlatOut series, and also a spoof comedy/parody of all racing games there, also russian gamer memes. Damn I'm super hype for this we need more goofy ass racing games Forza horizon 5 seems to be the big one and even that there's only 10ish? Goofy stunt races that are scripted anyways. Give me this over any soulless arcade sim. Project cars, grid, forza motorsport, assetto, GT, ect. "Hey we laser scanned this real life track into the game!" Wow great I can race the same track I've already seen in 20 other sim racers... Do you have any personality or customization to make up for the lack of realism compared to iRacing? No? Then why should I bother? Sim racers are like the Madden of car games. We need more Blur, Split second, Carmageddon, Flatout, Wrectfest, Burnout.

Name the dozens of boring Sim/Arcade sims that are clogging the genre plus the extra 6 or so that's been announced. If publishers think no one wants goofy games and only contract devs to make this soulless serious crap then yes they are literally disallowing more legendary games like Most wanted and Flatout to exist.
