I attended Defqon this is year and it was the best Festival experience I ever had. Staff is super nice and you get free water and suncream. The sound when the video ends (The sound after the "This was a Q Dance Event/Experience") is also played live at the venue but much louder than the music before. It is only then, that you really get a grasp of what the soundsystem is actually capable of. Ive never heard a bass that strong and crisp ever since.

Loved this! You'll have to check out the 2023 endshow too. Every year the endshow caps off the saturday and is a little bit longer and the closing ritual is the sunday. All the years are amazing to watch. Cant wait to go in june for the first time. Keep up the work guys love it!

The color changing fireworks were so beautiful IRL! I didn't notice them really well at Defqon.1, but I really saw them at Mysteryland, amazed 🤩

as someone who has been there, all 4 days that was... let me tell you one thing... it is spectacular on video... but even more insane to be in this crowd... like aprox. 80k people at the closing in front of that stage was INSANE and standing within the 360° fireworks all around... I can not tell you of anything more spectacular in my life... and that's one reason why I booked for defqon.1 2024 again 🧡 by the way, the endshow of 2023 was kinda wicked as well (you have done the 2022 from what I have seen)

and as littie info, the red had a total height of 54m (177 feet) and this puts the fireworks into a whole new level and as there was the "feel the power of the tribe" it was insane because you felt the radiating heat of the flamethrowers basically in the middle of the crowd so yes, you felt the power for real and this festival had up to 104000 visitors PER DAY!

They topped 256,000 people for the whole festival last year. I was there and it was just insane!! This year will be my 12th edition 💪🏼

defqon is a 4 day event so it has more visitors in general, but during one show like the endshow there are about 60-70.000 people. much love

Love the reactions! :) Since you guys keep mentioning the drone shots: They are provided by a company called "Dutch Drone Gods". Afaik it's basically people who used to do drone racing and then founded this company to do cool drone shots for events, documentaries, ads etc. They also did the "World's Best FPV Drone Shot" for Red Bull.

The Red (mainstage) holds up to ~70k people. More when crammed. In 2019 and 2022 they had to close the entrance gate to avoid congestion. So in order to witness and find a good spot for the endshow as well as closing ceremony, you need to gather at least half an hour earlier. Otherwise you might end up having a bad spot or none at all.

Being there in person was surreal. It was sad since it was the end of 4 epic Festival Days but also amazing to witness. Goosebumps all over again holy shit. These were the best 4 days of my life. 17:08 I met about 24 people like this just through making eye contact during a set and just vibing together.

When you're blown away that much by Closing and Endshow already, I'm pretty sure you'll be done after Power Hour (just because it's an whole hour). I mean, everyone's done after Power Hour. It's insane and *the* event of the festival. Just my opinion. I'm saving my energy on Saturday only for Power Hour. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to dance through this whole thing. If you thought amazing firework is all Q-Dance has to offer - you haven't seen Power Hour yet. For numbers: we had 65.000 people joining Power Hour in 2023 and 75.000 in 2022. Closing Ritual in 2023 had much more than Power Hour but I don't know a number. But yeah, we're 100.000 campers, staying all four days. Plus the day visitors, Defqon.1 2023 had 250.000 visitors in total.
