True...for me it has been a lifestyle since the mid 90s raves.a few years ago I used to go to holland 4 times a year to party (From Sweden) instead of the "normal" beach vacations 😅

I live in Texas and it's a lifestyle for me as well. It's not my fault we don't get things like this. I know only one other person who listens to music like this. It makes me sad I'll never experience a festival on this level. I've always wanted defqon 1 or masters of hardcore to come to the US but that won't happen

2023 was legendary, but you can't miss out on the Defqon. 1 2017 Legends. It's a 3 hour long set going from when they started to that year (maybe split up into several videoes unless you get too hooked :p). You see all kinds of DJ's from different timelines in that video. Would also be nice to have a marathon seeing all the Defqon. 1 Endshows from the first endshow up until 2022 or 21 depending on who you've seen. Love the reactions on the Defqon and hardstyle in general. Welcome to the Orange Heart family!

Still to this day it feels surreal watching these afterwards and thinking i was there last year. It was my first defqon visit and i will be going there every year as long as i can breathe, it was the most amazing experience of my life and it's not even close. The people, everybody was so friendly and could go on a sidequest talking with strangers and everybody just generally having great time ✌

Hello I am from Germany. At Defqon1 they have a completely new stage design every year and the final show has been adapted to the new theme. So you'll be surprised and blown away every year. Yes, the final show is something special in the videos. But you have to experience it live once. By the way, there are many festivals like this in the Netherlands, all of which have an end show. This is simply standard for the Dutch. Something else nice, no matter what festival I went to in Holland, I never experienced that there was any stress or anything like that. The Hollenders are simply a peaceful party and celebration people. And what you said at the end about who the people are there to increase and increase the energy is completely true and in my opinion only the Hollenders can convey that so well.

I really hope you react to Sickmode & Rooler present The Gang at Rebirth 2022. That set is pure energy. It feels like a Power Half Hour. Speaking of Power Half Hour, Da Tweekaz are a duo that entitled their Defqon.1 2022 set as Power Half Hour. They played 27 tracks in 28 minutes. You should check it out. The energy is awesome. Also The Spotlight: Sub Zero Project | Defqon.1 2022 is amazing. Filled with both emotion and agressive music. Ghost Stories | Defqon.1 2022 is a must watch set. The atmosphere is absolutely crazy, and in my opinion is the best set of Defqon.1 2022.

no idea how often I watched this video after being there for real... and once the tanto drums start plaing in the rythm... I get goosebumps... instantly... again... over and over... can't wait to be back there this summer, meet my friends from all over the world once again at the holy grounds and have a blast once again by the way as said on the other video, you now know how tall this stage has been... and this was the longest single fireworks sequence on the whole event... (and at that day they had some massive fireworks before as well) when it comes to defqon.1 it is like... SFX asking Q-dance: "how many fireworks do you want?" Q-dance replies: "YES PLEASE!" (same for lasers and flamethrowers) by the way, one more fun fact from the red (when I first stepped on the holy grounds) the first thing I could see was the bare tip of the stage from way back on site... but you had no clue how massive this stage has been, then when the stage was finally opened on friday... you have seen the actual size... and it was big... or better gigantic... then you walked up all the way to the front... and it was HUGE (this was the from what I know the largest mainstage ever built for defqon.1 and I will let myself surprise which size they will have for this summer... as it is edition 20 of defqon.1) and yes, the endshow is on saturday night... the closing is on sunday and the final part of the festival

Check out The Saturday Endshow from 2016, its my personal favorite with the fireworks. They didn't do surround fireworks yet that year but what they had was sheer numbers and intensity and some great songs.

Well, other years were better but this one is also good. Not as much fireworks as previous years but yeah, inflation. You should watch other editions their endshows and also other festivals like Intents Festival, the 2022 endshows are top tier.

DDG uses the FPV for the " hot" shots, but they use a full blown Dual operated FPV for the wide cool shots. their Insta shows a RED KOMODO camera setup too. these guys keep amazing me. As for the Defqon production. it is above all standards.

This is red…the main stage where all the magic happens. But during the day…all the people you see in thus movie, walking around and go to different stages.
