Not surprised the mother was apoplectic with anger at the announcement of the results. The father, who in some respect earns some brownie points for maturity, really took the biscuit by asking for a DNA test for utterly frivolous reasons. He admitted they were sleeping together between January and March; therefore the child could be born anywhere between September and November. By denying the mother's tears, the mother-in-law was completely offside. Either it was a lack empathy, or just a complete failure to understand human psychology. The pressure of being wrongfully-accused will take a toll on even the strongest of people. Good lucky to everybody involved, and God bless.

The purpose of a DNA is to establish paternity/maternity of the child in question, not an occasion to penalize and/or cast aspersion on anybody. These tests should be mandatory from Day 1 if not before.

@@markgodknows86 Guys. I see this mother-in-law's role differently from all and previous contributions above. Tinashe definitely needed someone (an icebreaker), elderly enough, to advise and console the lady. And here comes the mother-in-law (amwene). Yes, it is painfully for her, but Gogo did very well to confirm that there was a puzzle that required to be solved by all parties, our muroora included! I understand that it's difficult to calculate days on first pregnancy, but if muroora gave information that she was already 3 months pregnant when she came into the homestead in April 2023, then the 2-3 months difference is a cause for concern. I know she started counting when she had some pains in January, but this was not the start of the pregnancy until she missed her 'mens' in March 2023. The good lady simply needs to be consoled and the beautiful family carries on in building their family. Gogo did just that and I feel she is so gifted and well knowledgeable to support her muroora.
