I’m played providence more than any course in my life. Dave Ayers gave me my first lessons when I was 16. That place holds a special spot in my heart. On another note, I got paired up with Eddie 15 years ago when I was a kid. Thought he was the greatest golfer I’d ever seen 😂. Also played with Sullins at Monroe Country Club.

Congrats on the win, but how do you consider yourself a weekend warrior when you basically play golf every day as a living? The guys you beat who have wives, kids, jobs and family responsibilities Monday through Friday and only get to play on the weekends are who are known as weekend warriors. It doesn't take anything away from your win, which is fantastic. Just think it's odd you consider yourself one.

It's not his problem that the strength of field isn't that of a State Amateur or an Elite AM Major event. And about the participation award "trophy"... if I showed up and won... a W is a W idfc how of who it's against. Wins a win. US AM, State AM, Local Stroke Play, Club Championship, or a mf Twilight League against someone 50 years old who's got a 5-handicap. Wins a win.
