I like your attitude Ben, even if its not working your way in this tourney, you manage to stay positive and make a comeback for the next one!! I hope my son watch this video so he can learn from you! You are a real role model and someone to look up too. Love it man!!

Love the tournament videos. I honestly don’t really waste much time watching other KZbin golf videos besides yours and a few select others. Also, lob shots were exquisite! Once ball striking gets back to how it was previously and we get a shallower angle of attack hitting the butter cuts…..look out world!

I think if you give yourself bigger margin for miss off the tee after those first few miss with driver it can help in the future. Your mental toughness is top notch but that driver wasn’t giving you any breaks. Great play as always! Keep going!
@nickb.2372 ай бұрын
That driver sure does get you in trouble a lot. Maybe consider a new one “change something up” or use the 3 wood more. We want to see you succeed and that driver sets you up for failure too many times!

Enjoying watching your journey. Please humour me and have a fun session on the range trying to do impressions of Moe Norman. There is a small chance the ball further away, weak grip, high hands setup like Bryson might totally fix your plane/club-dace control issues. It did for me. Just 10 minutes and you will know.

I used to play a fade and switch to a draw because I’d come in too steep and sometimes the ball would shoot off the club face and go a ridiculous distance, like my 7 iron would go 220+ when it should only go 175. The other reason I switched to an in-to-out path was because out-to-in was producing some shanks and golf wasn’t fun. Went from a 7 to scratch in a year going from a fade to a draw. Moral of the story play the shot that fits naturally with your swing!

the arboristgolfer liked your shortgame i wish you could have made a few more putts im not sure whats amiss with your driver it may be in your grip pressure i dont know try some relaxation drills at address on the tee ex. breathing slow in nose out mouth, relaxed jaw, softer hands, grip pressure etc... try wearing a copper bracelet on your weaker hand ---- this helps --- trust me, try it!!!

Ben, i think you play from red tees when you are not engaged in a tournament. Why red tees? From the reds you can get a lot of birdies, I think you mess up the hole after a birdie quite a lot which hurts your score card, being more used to the hole after birdie feelings might normalize some things and make you play better mentally. Good luck Ben.

Ben loses so many shots off of his tee balls. I know he knows this. Maybe try and not swing so hard off the tee. You already kill the ball so you really wouldn’t be giving up a whole lot. You’re so talented and a great ball striker and an above average putter most of the time. I feel like if you can get the driver figured out then you could really score low consistently. Again, I know you know this but I think it’s time to try a different approach off the tee. Either way I know you’ll keep grinding. Hopeful for better rounds in the near future. Big fan.

This may sound weird but I had a sport psychologist for baseball watch me bat. I was poor but it was teammates dad. I exhaled super late and I’ve noticed you do that. Breathing can be like gripping the club to tight if that makes sense. You are carrying tension. I don’t know golf enough to tell you the exercises of breathing but it’s something to at least contemplate. Not that I think you need any help you are sick and why I watch.

For the love of god stop trying to just hit cuts. If you committed to working on a draw off the tee I’m convinced you’d be better within a month. You hit it naturally even when you’re trying everything possible to not do it.
