I enjoyed this one as well but I found it to be lightly scented as compared to normal A&E offerings. The performance for me was excellent but the performance on Kaizen 1 was also excellent. I think any of the last three bases from A&E or the Club are outstanding.

Thanks Chris. It is amazing how differently scents and scent strength are interpreted by individual's noses. I find scent is the most individualized area within this great hobby.

105...I am not surprised. I have Club Baccara and Graveyard and I absolutely love the scents on both of them. Club Baccara is just phenomenal. It jumped into my top 5 as soon as I tried it. I was surprised at how noticeable the improvement in the post shave is. Like you said, K1 was already great, K2 is on a whole other level...

@@walid7885 It's so hard to limit it to 5...but right now my top 5 are Vanille de Tabac, Leviathan, Fallout, Club Baccara and Tombstone....but Graveyard, Ouddiction, Dapper Doc, Fougere Angelique, and The Big Top round out the top 10. How about you?

@@johncerra359 Well, I must admit it's tough. Sometimes I go for the scent more than performance. Ouddiction (got it 2 days ago), Khalifa, Vanille de tabac, Atomic age Bay rum (PAA) Cryogen. Peach and cognac, B&M Leviathan, DG Massacre are up there too

Can't wait to see The Club's proliferation. In my opinion since Kaizens release A&E really shifted into high gear, and K2 is a game changer. Would really like to see a Club Bac EdP as the original is quite pricey, it's such an amazing scent. Might have to pull the trigger either way.

Dear Mr Ruds. Let me start by saying thanks for your brilliant content. This is not a troll it’s a serious question that your high end soap friend maybe and to help with. After using a high end soap my skin is squeaky clean literally. To me this means the oils etc have been removed ( not always a good thing). After all shaves I apply a lotion or cream, after which I have no more squeak. So my questions (finally) are can you miss out on an after shave product as to me all shave soap remove the existing good ness and why the heck does my skin squeak? Merry Christmas old fruit. 🥸

Refined Edge to be honest...we’re not talking $1,200 dollars, it’s a little over $2 per month. There will always be stuff sold out and new stuff coming in. If this is a concern, you probably are best off waiting a bit for public release.

I was actually a big fan and have purchased plenty of public releases. Now that I know you think your better than your customers and shame us for spending money wisely, I will not be returning.

Refined Edge My apologies. I came across as rude and that wasn’t my intent. It’s very difficult to answer this question because we are not a large manufacturing plant and do not carry a thousand of each product in stock. What’s available today, can be gone tomorrow and what’s not available today may be available soon. Exceptions being Khalifa, which is very difficult to get. As a member, which does cost a little over $2 per month, you always receive first access and if something is in limited supply (such as the last release of Khalifa) you’ll have access to this as a member only, as this was not released to the public. Please accept my apologies.

Refined Edge Thank you. Its coming back, but the oils needed to make this comes from overseas. It’s been a real challenge getting these oils (for Khalifa) in a timely and consistent manner. This is why our releases have been very inconsistent with Khalifa. Grecian Horse is in stock currently and Chasing the Dragon will be released soon in K2 to our members. Because of difficulty in getting Khalifa & Grecian Horse (as well as the significant increase in cost) I will no longer offer these two to our retailers. I just cannot guarantee availability. Hopefully when Covid gets under control the supply chain will get back to normal

The post shave goes too far for my taste, it does feel super luxurious while on the face, but I dont think I could use it in the humid months where I live. k1 remains my fav.
