I use cnc, lasers, 3d printing, etc... you're as much a woodworker when you tell a machine what to make as the manager is the wood worker that tells the wood worker what to make. ;-) me lasering plywood or pine or oak is not wood working. replace the laser with a spinning burr, nothing really changes. even the controls are the same, just speed controls laser power vs spindle speed. I also laser slate and other stone, and that doesn't mean I'm a wood worker AND a stone mason. :-D but.. my manager told me to make a thing, so.. maybe he's the stone mason and wood worker, just ignorant of wood and stone, but an afford machines.. maybe that's all it takes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
