22:51 so for those who don't get what happened here, basically because they blunderbussed their way up, some triggers were skipped and so the game has all the checks for the cutscene complete as soon as you get to the room rather than the hangar bay. More or less, from my limited memory on parroting this info, lol.

i remember killing keyes under certain circumstances is a speedrun strat because it insta-finishes the mission. so i think that's whats happened there

That is infact exactly what happened. If you kill all but 1 marine and Keys, then wait till the halfway point of the walk back (the room where you later find dead flood keys) and then kill keys, you trick the game into loading the wrong trigger and so it loads the success cutscene instead of the fail. This is indeed also part of the LASO and speedrun strategy, this isn't even the most jank strategy in the run.

I know it's been a while, but I think the reason why you guys got stuck on Two Betrayals is that you guys must have flown over a trigger using the flying warthog. You're not able to fly normally at that part of the level, so they probably set it up so the loading zone for the objective was somewhere on the ground, but since you guys were flying you missed it.

in regard to Truth and Reconciliation ending, the mission ending in the control room there is a common speedrun trick (not exactly sure how to trigger it intentionally) and you just happened to hit that at the same time that keys died.

It's triggered by skipping up a level or two to another door instead of going up the normal pathway. Speedrunners jump from the first level to the third.

So. For your information. On two betrayals the reason the generator wasn't spawning was because your were skipping a trigger. Which you hit on foot when you're normally going to the banshees on the ground. It's the same type of thing that can happen when you're learning speedrunning when you do banshee door skip and then nothing loads because the game expects you to be a certain place that it wasn't aware of. Essentially.

If you pay attention to the previous cutscene before Keyes, Cortana says there is no time to rescue Keyes. Instead of master Chief fighting back it just skips the mission.

We didn’t end up finishing this mission and just skipped ahead. Seems that this mission has a lot of easily missable event flags, which makes things just not spawn. My friend and i keep getting a connection error when trying to play the campaign cursed together, but when we load it up solo it loads perfectly fine. DO you know how to fix this? I can't find anything on the issue.

So, a little behind the scenes info here. Joey and I recorded some more Cursed Halo and we got that same connection issue you talked about. One fix I found, which your mileage may vary, is for each player to load up a mission with the same skulls, difficulty, etc as eachother and then exit that mission, wait a bit and then join one another. I don't think it worked for us, not very well at least, but it is a possible solution.

MCC in general is such a pain for coop I could only play lan coop with an external software like Nucleus Coop Playing on two different pcs meant huge huge lag (3-5seconds delays) for non host And while playing online with friends the non host always gets 1 or 2 seconds of delay, halo 3 being the worst where every gun feels like a doom gun and is running at like 15fps From whats i've seen if your two pcs are different in hardware and software, it might cause issues because they cant communicate with each others at the same required speed and lags one of even disconnect/doesnt allow a connexion
