This year we covered Lynked: Banner Of The Spark, World Of Goo 2, Anima Flux, Kingdom Two Crowns, Flock, Rotwood, 33 Immortals, Windblown directly on the channel. Those are all pretty indie titles. We played some other games on livestreams or covered them on the Patreon like Surmount and Baladins that just didn’t hit for us but were indies we were excited about. We think we generally find a good balance 😅

Really enjoying PoE2, but I wish they'd make drops individual to each player in co-op. Drops are bad enough as it is, but when you add unbalanced loot it makes it even worse.

Path of exile 2 will be a paid game?! Now im more interested. I shyed away from the first because it was free and an mmo and it sounded kinda grindy and heavy mtx

Path of Exile 2 is only paid while in early access. It will be free on 1.0 launch. It’s very good though if you are looking for an alternative to Diablo. The first one is still worth checking out, but has no wasd movement.

POE in my opinion isn't too grindy at all, just a lot to understand. The game is completely free bro, no negatives to it.

Only Early Access is paid. The first PoE is one of only few truly free-to-play games out there with only cosmetic microtransactions and zero pay-to-win content. You have to build the skills of your character to be effective and do some areas twice or so to get more xp but it's definitely not any kind of tedious grind. I recommend both.

Genuinely weirded out by your comment at 09:28 Nintendo literally hindering innovation in the genre by boxing out a game mechanics. I wouldn’t wanna count on them winning. Sets a bad precedent.

The comment isn’t really cheering on the side of Nintendo and more so commenting on the fact that Nintendo’s legal team has a precedent behind snuffing out projects like this. So we were more so commenting on how it’s surprising it’s stuck around this long without any trouble. Nintendo did file against them though sometime after launch. We don’t really have a horse in this race so to speak, we hope Palworld sticks around since people enjoy it a lot and competition in the genre is always good.
