The Co-Optional Lounge plays Battlestar Galactica - Part 1

The Co-optional Lounge is a casual show where the Co-optional crew play various boardgames. I dont usually upload the VoDs but the Battlestar Galactica playthrough was something special so I thought I'd put it up. This is the first part, the game takes quite a few hours to complete. I give a basic explanation of the rules at the beginning of the game. This show originally aired live on the 1st of March.

I have never watched Battlestar Galactica I know nothing about it but watching these people play this make me love it. Watching them play secret Hitler made me fall in love with secret Hitler so much that I made a color printing playset before the official board game was out buy nicking the assets from table top simulators version. That copy of the game was eventually retired but the official game was a staple of family board game night.

Aw man, after all these years, I've just realised that when TB played the 'all skill cards are placed face up' card, Jesse kept moving the skill deck around while stalling, shuffling it twice to hide his hijinx.

Took me so many years until i felt ready to watch TB again. Always made me sad to hear his voice anywhere. He really was the man that changed gaming for the better. Inspired many young people to follow their ambitions. Great man. And from what i gathered over the years was more than an entertainer and youtuber for many people.

ahhh How i wish for those days again because Guess what a Sealed copy of the game goes for 500$ in 2019 though some examples used on Ebay and such for 150-250$

soi many rules wrong. Roslin is the best character in the game to begin with, but when you don't even discard when you activate a location she's a god.

I’m actually not a fan. She’s one of the “better”option purely as president, but she’s not good just as a character. If she wasn’t president automatically I’d never play her. I much prefer Tom Zarek in base game. More we’ll rounded as a character and still decent in office.

No, TB had the comments disabled early on due to something KZbin had involved itself in. Genna re-opened the comments shortly after TB passed away to give his fans a chance to speak while she used the Channel before moving back onto her own- thus all comments prior to that re-opening were deleted manually by an algorithm.
