Vortex was the absolute sleeper hit of my trip to CW last year. I rode it twice, and I still couldn't believe how fast it goes. It makes you take a hard look at Ninja and Iron Dragon, and even the Bat, and ask "Why aren't you like this?"

2:50 sure Silver Streak has the "hang n bang" layout, but it has different restraints, similar to lap bars. I think a better name would be "suspend n shuffle"

My Rides Ranking: 1. Behemoth (back row is legit ejector) 2. Leviathan (so fast) 3. Ghoster Coaster (so underrated, blew me away last visit) 4. Yukon (kinda mid after first drop) 5. Wilde Beast (smoother than i remember) 6. Flight Deck (hot take, good layout, bad restraints) 7. Vortex (overrated af) 8. Backlot 9. Dragon Fyre 10. Fly 11. Silver Streak 12. Thunder Run 13. Bat (hate that cobra roll) 14. Taxi Jam Literally anything else 15. Time Warp 16. Minebuster Honestly, this past Summer when I started to get obsessed with roller coasters, I came to the realization that my home park kinda sucks aside from the top 5/6 (in which theres only 2 rides that are actually amazing). I really hope something drastic changes over the next few years and we get rid of all the junk in the park (plz rmc).

Canada’s Wonderland is the definition of sticking to what you got. There is only one coaster that was removed in the park’s history so far.

Man I need to get here again! Haven't been since June of 1987 on a stormy day. Coasters were only open for about 3-4 hours. Bat was brand new but didn't open that day. Dragonfyre was the highlight of the day😂😂😂

Snoopys Railway is really fun for a family coaster. I've never ridden such a brand new ride before so I was amazed by how smooth and fluid it felt.

With CW being my home park, I had a realization yesterday while waiting in line for The Bat with my 9 and 7 year olds. While we may complain about rides like The Bat, Dragon Fyre, and even Flight Deck, the majority of people who don't go to different parks to try out the newest and the best, still enjoy these off the shelf rides. And without them, jumping straight to the big boys would be too intimidating.

Good point. I recently took my 8 year old for the first time and he isn't quite tall enough for Behemoth, Leviathan etc but he really enjoyed all the mid-level coasters. Now he has to grow 3 inches by next Summer so we can hit all the big ones together!

Canada's Wonderland is such a fun park with some really unique flat rides and great coasters! I loved Leviathan when I visited there several years ago but I LOVED Behemoth so much! It was just a super fun coaster and I loved the hills at the end of it. The woodies there were AWFUL (I heard my friend's back crack while we were on the Wild Beast) and I hope they either retrack them or RMC them sometime down the line. They were painful! =(

Should be? Absolutely. Will be? Seems to not be the case. I think I've read somewhere that Canada's regulations require a certain level of domestic talent be used when building amusement park infrastructure, something RMC has a problem with. Plus, it's clear that Cedar Fair has fallen out of love with RMC, having worked with them for 3 coasters in 2018 and never again since.
