I bought a 200 brand new when the first came out. What a beautiful radio. Beautiful, but wow the issues. Even with a flat match on a 102" whip on an extended cab rear bumper, you could warm up a truck cab with that radio. Lol Ended up trading it off for a primo Galaxy back then. Beautiful but WOW that 200 brings back memories and headaches. Have a good one ROOSTER!

I have one of them still in mint condition and still works and I have the box and manual to go with it. Even though I have a Stryker 955 that I bought from Rooster, but I still keep this radio as a backup. The built-in amp does have a pair of original Toshiba 2290's in it.

I had the 150 for years, then frequency switch wore out and found out I couldn't get parts, no one wanted to work on it. So I gave it to Al up in Boise, had CB shop behind Flying J. I wish I never bought it.

Reminds me of my 148fgtl, only much better. I still think I would prefer a new striker though. But I'd love to restore my grandfather's cobra 2000 too. Or should I buy an already done cobra 2000 and save this one for display? Or both? Or all three?

I will go for an old Grant DX or Superstar GR. 40 channels below. 1-40 and 40 above. At least it will work and match up with one antenna so 120 channels for me.
